Abstract:
A catalyst is provided. The catalyst includes a carrier and a metal. The carrier is represented by a formula: MxAl(1-x)O(3-x)/2, where M is an alkaline earth metal, and x is between 0.09 and 0.24. The metal is loaded on the carrier. A method for manufacturing the catalyst is also provided.

A polyester is provided, which is formed by copolymerizing (a) diacid or diester and (b) diol, wherein (a) diacid or diester includes (a1) and (a2) or a combination thereof, and each of R1 is independently H or C1-10 alkyl group, wherein (b) diol includes (b1) 1,6-hexanediol and (b2) 2,2,4,4-tetramethyl-1,3-cyclobutanediol, 1,4-cyclohexane dimethanol, tricyclo[5.2.1.0(2,6)]decanedimethanol, or a combination thereof, and (b1) 1,6-hexanediol and (b2) 2,2,4,4-tetramethyl-1,3-cyclobutanediol, 1,4-cyclohexane dimethanol, tricyclo[5.2.1.0(2,6)]decanedimethanol, or a combination thereof have a molar ratio (b1/b2) of 75:25 to 92:8.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a catalyst for hydrogenation of 4,4′-methylenedianiline (MDA), including a support, a magnesium-aluminum oxide layer covering the support, and a rhodium-ruthenium active layer loaded on the magnesium-aluminum oxide layer, wherein the rhodium and the ruthenium of the rhodium-ruthenium active layer have a weight ratio of 40:60 to 10:90. The hydrogenation catalyst can be collocated with hydrogen for hydrogenation of the MDA to form bis(para-amino cyclohexyl) methane (PACM), and the PACM contains O mol % to 25 mol % of (t,t)-isomer.

A polycarbonate diol is provided. The polycarbonate diol includes repeating units represented by formula (A) and formula (B), and hydroxyl groups located at both ends of the polycarbonate diol. The molar ratio of formula (A) to formula (B) is in a range from 1:99 to 99:1. R1 is a linear, branched or cyclic C2-20 alkylene group. R2 is a linear or branched C2-10 alkylene group; m and n are independently and can be an integer from 0 to 10, and m+n≥1. A is a C2-20 alicyclic hydrocarbon, aromatic ring or a structure represented by formula (C). R3 and R4 are independently and can be a hydrogen atom or a C1-6 alkyl group; S is 0 or 1; and Z is selected from R5 and R6 are independently and can be a hydrogen atom or a C1-12 hydrocarbon group.

Catalyst for hydrogenation of 1,3-cyclobutanediketone compound is provided, which includes a support and VIIIB group transition metal loaded thereon. The support includes a first oxide powder with a surface wrapped by a second oxide. The first oxide includes silicon oxide, aluminum oxide, zirconium oxide, titanium oxide, zinc oxide, or a combination thereof. The second oxide has a composition of MxAl(1-x)O(3-x)/2, M is alkaline earth metal, and x is from 0.3 to 0.7.
