摘要: In an optical wavelength converting method in which light from a laser oscillator that oscillates coherent light of an inherent wavelength λ is employed as incident light, and is made to input to a nonlinear optical crystal, and light having a wavelength of ½λ is radiated, the wavelength of the incident light is 1000 nm or less, and the peak power density of the incident light is 0.1–10 fold greater than the peak power density that provides the maximum conversion efficiency. The nonlinear optical crystal is heated to and maintained at 200–600° C. Prescribed fundamental waves are input to a first crystal and a second crystal sequentially. The first crystal has a higher bulk damage threshold value with respect to the fundamental waves than that of the second crystal. The second crystal has a higher effective nonlinear constant with respect to the fundamental waves than that of the first crystal.

摘要: An ultraviolet laser is provided that increases the conversion efficiency of laser beams when harmonics having wavelengths of less than 355 nm are generated by converting laser beams with a wavelength conversion element made of a single crystal of lithium tetraborate. A wavelength conversion element is heated and controlled to a specific temperature (for example, 200° C.) within a temperature range of 200 to 450° C. with a predetermined temperature precision.

摘要: The CPU detects an error in the timing of offset stacking by the offset stacker on the basis of the time when the offset motor signal for driving the offset motor is generated and the time when the initial position sensor is turned ON. Upon detecting an error in the timing of offset stacking, the CPU forces the image formation by the image forming unit and the paper transportation by the paper transporting motor to stop, thus preventing paper from being introduced into the offset stacker.

摘要: An image forming apparatus is provided which can form an image of excellent picture quality in which a streak does not appear at a specified position in a main scanning direction. A reading control apparatus includes an illuminator to irradiate an illumination light to a document of a reading object, a CCD sensor that includes a plurality of light-receiving elements arranged in one line to receive the illumination light reflected by the document, and sequentially outputs electric signals stored in the light-receiving elements, a read control part that acquires, with respect to the electric signals of each line generated by the CCD sensor, electric signals by reading the electric signals starting from an electric signal corresponding to a position outside one end, in a main scanning direction, which is one of both ends of the document of the reading target in the main scanning direction and is the end where an electric signal is outputted from the CCD sensor at an earlier timing, a pre-processing part to perform a specified pre-process on the electric signals acquired by the read control part, and an image output control part that removes, with respect to the electric signals of each line, electric signals corresponding to a range outside the one end from the electric signals processed by the pre-processing part, acquires electric signals starting from the electric signal corresponding to the one end, and outputs only the acquired electric signals to outside.
