    Abstract: Magnetic field sensor devices, corresponding systems and corresponding methods are discussed where a plurality of magnetic field sensors senses a magnetic field. An evaluation circuit generates a first signal component associated with a periodicity of a magnetic field, and a second signal component at least for periods of the magnetic field exceeding a threshold period length, the second signal component having a resolution smaller than the first signal component.

    Abstract: Some examples described herein may include receiving, by a sensor device, differential measurement signals from at least two sensor elements; generating, by the sensor device, fixed-calibrated channels from the differential measurement signals, generating, by the sensor device, self-calibrated channels from the differential measurement signals; determining, by the sensor device, offsets associated with the differential measurement signals based on the self-calibrated channels; determining, by the sensor device, whether a vibration occurred within the differential measurement signals based on the fixed-calibrated channels; and providing, by the sensor device, phase measurement information based on the offsets and whether the vibration occurred, wherein the phase measurement information identifies a phase of the rotatable object.

    Abstract: A magnetic sensor system may include a first magnetic sensor and a second magnetic sensor. The first magnetic sensor may include a first triplet of sensor elements for measuring a magnetic field. The first triplet of sensor elements may be aligned linearly along a direction of movement. A first pair of differential signals, output by the first magnetic sensor, may indicate a position of the magnetic sensor system, along the direction of movement, relative to a magnetic pole pair. The second magnetic sensor may include a second triplet of sensor elements for measuring the magnetic field. The second triplet of sensor elements may be aligned linearly along the direction of movement. The second magnetic sensor may be positioned relative to the first magnetic sensor such that a second pair of differential signals, output by the second magnetic sensor, indicates a position of the magnetic sensor system across multiple pole pairs.

    Abstract: A magnetic field sensor arrangement includes a magnetic field sensor element configured to provide a sensor output signal responsive to a magnetic field, wherein the sensor output signal is representative of a magnetic field amplitude; a processing module configured to provide a processed sensor output signal representative of the sensor output signal; a switching level calculation module configured to calculate a switching level, (1) during a power up mode, based on a default switching level, and (2) during a running mode, based on the processed sensor output signal; a comparator module configured to compare the processed sensor output signal with the switching level, and to provide a comparator output signal based on the comparison; and a storage module configured to store the default switching level, provide the default switching level during the power up mode, and update the default switching level during the running mode.
