摘要: A process for inducing a compressive residual stress in a surface region of a steel component, the process comprising a heat treatment having the following steps: (i) providing a component comprising a steel composition; (ii) induction heating at least a part of the component followed by quenching said at least part, wherein the hardness in a surface region of the component is increased; and (iii) subsequently performing a martensite and/or bainite through hardening step to obtain a microstructure comprising martensite and/or bainite.

摘要: In some embodiments, an audio receiving device can be configured to couple to and produce an output signal for a portable media device. The audio receiving system can include: (a) a first microphone; (b) a second microphone; (c) a housing; and (d) an audio interface configured to electrically couple to the portable media device and provide the output signal to the portable media device. The first microphone can be coupled to the housing such that the first microphone can be rotated relative to the housing. Similarly, the second microphone can be coupled to the housing such that the second microphone can be rotated relative to the housing. Other embodiments are disclosed in this application.

摘要: An electron beam plasma reactor includes a plasma chamber having a side wall, an upper electrode, a workpiece support to hold a workpiece facing the upper electrode with the workpiece on the support having a clear view of the upper electrode, a first RF power source coupled to said upper electrode, a gas supply, a vacuum pump coupled to the chamber to evacuate the chamber, and a controller. The controller is configured to operate the first RF power source to apply an RF power to upper electrode, and to operate the gas distributor and vacuum pump, so as to create a plasma in an upper portion of the chamber that generates an electron beam from the upper electrode toward the workpiece and a lower electron-temperature plasma in a lower portion of the chamber including the workpiece.

摘要: Embodiments of a method of calculating the equivalent series resistance of a matching network using variable impedance analysis and matching networks analyzed using the same are provided herein. In one embodiment, a method of calculating the equivalent series resistance of a matching network includes the steps of connecting the matching network to a load; measuring an output of the matching network over a range of load impedances; and calculating the equivalent series resistance of the matching network based upon a relationship between the measured output and the load resistance. The load may be a surrogate load or may be a plasma formed in a process chamber.
