摘要: Systems, apparatuses and methods may provide for detecting an identifier communication from a writing implement and transitioning a previously modified interior page of an electronic notepad from a locked state to an unlocked state if the identifier communication corresponds to one or more stored identifiers. Moreover, a plurality of additional interior pages of the electronic notepad may be maintained in the locked state while the previously modified interior page is in the unlocked state.

摘要: Technologies for performing a simplified pixel shifting scheme on a display (e.g., an organic light emitting diode (OLED) display) are disclosed herein. An electronic device presents, on the display, a virtual display having an active area and a margin area surrounding the active area. The active area is to display content (e.g., image data, video data, etc.), and an amount of pixels in the virtual display is greater than an amount of pixels in the active area. The electronic device is also to shift the pixels of the active area within the virtual display according to a pixel shifting technique and update a touch coordinate offset for the touch screen interface based on the shift.

摘要: Technologies for providing information to a user while traveling include a mobile computing device to determine network condition information associated with a route segment. The route segment may be one of a number of route segments defining at least one route from a starting location to a destination. The mobile computing device may determine a route from the starting location to the destination based on the network condition information. The mobile computing device may upload the network condition information to a crowdsourcing server. A mobile computing device may predict a future location of the device based on device context, determine a safety level for the predicted location, and notify the user if the safety level is below a threshold safety level. The device context may include location, time of day, and other data. The safety level may be determined based on predefined crime data.

An example apparatus includes a camera input analyzer to analyze image data captured by a world facing camera on a portable computer when a lid of the portable computer is in a closed position. The world facing camera is on a first side of the lid. The portable computer includes a primary display on a second side of the lid opposite the first side. The example apparatus further includes a secondary display controller to render content via a secondary display of the portable computer in response to the analysis of the image data. The secondary display controller is to render the content on the secondary display while the lid of the portable computer is in the closed position and the primary display is turned off.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide techniques and configurations for an apparatus for opportunistic measurements and processing of user's context. In one instance, the apparatus may include a sensor module with sensors disposed on a work surface to maintain direct or indirect contact with portions of user's limbs for a time period when the portions of user's limbs are disposed on the work surface, to obtain readings of first and second parameters of user's context over the time period of the direct or indirect contact; and a processing module to process the readings of the first and second parameters, including to identify a first feature of the first parameter and a second feature of the second parameter that is temporally correlated with the first feature, and determine a third parameter of the user's context based on the identified first and second features. 摘要: Technology for an electronic circuit is described. The electronic circuit can include one or more timed general-purpose input/output (GPIO) pins and a controller. The controller can receive touch sensor data pulses from a plurality of touch sensor integrated circuits (ICs) that are each communicatively coupled to the electronic circuit. A first touch sensor data pulse received from a first touch sensor IC in the plurality of touch sensor ICs can be time synchronized with a second touch sensor data pulse received from a second touch sensor IC in the plurality of touch sensor ICs using the one or more timed GPIO pins. The controller can combine the touch sensor data pulses received time synchronously from each of the plurality of touch sensor ICs to produce joint touch sensor data. The controller can perform joint processing of the joint touch sensor data.
