摘要： A pneumatic compressor capable of supplying compressed gas to a pneumatic tool. The compressor can be powered alternatively by either a battery or an AC power source. The compressor comprises a permanent magnet DC electric motor and circuitry for converting the AC power source to DC power. The compressor includes a receptacle for accommodating one or more of a plurality of batteries and includes circuitry for using batteries having different voltages. The AC power source may also be used to charge a battery connected to the compressor.

摘要： An anti-corrosion plug for closing a threaded condensate drain opening in a compressor air tank. The plug is formed from a material having a lower potential in the electrochemical series than said air tank to prevent electrolytic corrosion of the tank. The plug has a central cavity open to receive any condensate in the tank. An acid neutralizing insert, for example, of limestone, is located in the cavity to neutralize any acidity in the tank condensate.
