摘要: The present disclosure relates to a human machine interface (1) for a vehicle (2). The human machine interface (1) includes a first output device (10) for outputting information relating to a vehicle system (VS). The human machine interface (1) includes a controller (3) having at least one processor (4) having an input for receiving a driver status signal (DSTAT). A memory device (5) is coupled to the at least one processor (4) and has instructions stored therein. The at least one processor (4) is configured to determine an operating state of said vehicle system (VS) and to control said first output device (10) to output information relating to the determined operating state. The at least one processor (4) is configured to compose the information to be output in dependence on the received driver status signal (DSTAT). The present disclosure also relates to a method of controlling the output of information relating to an operating state of a vehicle system (VS).

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a control apparatus (1) for automatically activating a vehicle propulsion apparatus (4). The control apparatus (1) includes a controller (6) comprising an electronic processor (7) having an electrical input for receiving at least a first control signal generated in dependence on driver operation of a transmission controller (12) or a primary vehicle control (15, 16, 17). An electronic memory device (8) is electrically coupled to the electronic processor (7) and has instructions stored therein. The electronic processor (7) is configured to access the memory device (8) and execute the instructions stored therein such that it is operable to receive the first control signal from the first vehicle control (10); and, in dependence on said first control signal, output at least a first activation signal (SIGEG) for automatically activating the vehicle propulsion apparatus (4).

摘要: The invention relates to a display control apparatus (1) for dynamically controlling the display of information in a vehicle (3). The display control apparatus (1) comprises a controller (12) having at least one electronic processor (13). The at least one electronic processor (13) is configured to control first and second displays (4, 5). In dependence on a determined gaze direction of the vehicle driver, the at least one electronic processor (13) controls a switching module (16) to cause a first information data set (INF1) displayed on said first display (4) to be displayed on said second display (5). The present invention also relates to a method of controlling the display of information in a vehicle (3). One aim is to shift the driver's view back to the road.

摘要: The present invention relates to a system (1) for aligning a tow hitch (5) mounted to a vehicle (3) with a trailer coupling (7) mounted to a trailer (9). An imaging system (11, 13, 15) is provided to generate image data for analysis by a processor (37) to identify first and second feature sets (35, 39) associated with the trailer (9). The processor generates a guidance signal for steering the vehicle (3) at least substantially to align the tow hitch (5) with the trailer coupling (7). When the distance between the vehicle (3) and the trailer (9) is greater than a predefined threshold, the position of the trailer coupling (7) relative to the tow hitch (5) is determined in dependence on said first feature set (35). When the distance between the vehicle (3) and the trailer (9) is less than said predefined threshold, the position of the trailer coupling (7) relative to the tow hitch (5) is determined in dependence on said second feature set (39). Aspects of the invention also relate to a processor (37); a vehicle (3); and a method of aligning a tow hitch (5) with a trailer coupling (7).
