Abstract: The present disclosure relates to band saw blades often used for cutting wood at a sawmill. A band saw blade has teeth, and at least one tooth has a back angle that is greater than the back angle of conventional band saw blades. The greater back angle results in teeth having a smaller tooth angle so that the teeth make deeper penetration into wood or other materials that are cut by the blade.

Abstract: A designer tool that facilitates design of an object model. The tool takes as input a computer-readable representation of a graph of objects (e.g., classes), and creates automatically one or more diagrams that depict these classes as editable trees showing their relationships and properties. These graphs naturally have a tree-like structure which is exploited by the approach. The design tool system includes a layout component that receives as input one or more of the graphs, and converts the one or more graphs into the editable treelike structure. The system further comprises a presentation component that presents the editable treelike structure as a treelike structure diagram, and facilitates user interaction therewith. The tool can be used for opening, editing and saving existing object model files or to create new ones.

Abstract: A radio remote-controlled automatic vehicle wash system is activated by an infrared motion sensor. A hand-held transmitter activates an optional garage door mechanism of the system to open and activate the wash system. Within a controller is housed a micro-controller programmed to process inputs from the garage door, an RF transmitter, a thermistor and an infrared motion sensor. When predetermined specified conditions are met, the controller activates a solenoid valve to allow pressurized water to flow through distribution pipes at each side of the vehicle, and under it. Nozzles connected to the distribution pipes spray water in a high velocity 45.degree. fan-like pattern to remove dirt, salt and debris from the surface of the vehicle and the undercarriage. Each nozzle contains a check valve to prevent water from seeping out once the system is depressurized to conserve water and to assure that when the solenoid valve is opened there is no significant delay in opening the nozzles due to absence of water in the distribution pipes. The system is adaptable to any garage or carport as well as with automatic garage door opening.

Abstract: An apparatus for manufacturing cellular laminate structural panels includes one or more supply stations of a flexible strip material including folding rollers for sequentially folding the strip material into cellular structures and feeding the cellular structures into a conveyor where the cellular structures are held in compression. The apparatus further includes a laminating station where the folded cellular structures are laminated to an upper and/or lower sheet material to which lines of a bonding medium have been applied prior to engagement with the cellular structures. The folded cellular structures are heated before engaging the sheet material so as to enhance the bonding of the sheet material to the cellular structures and subsequent to bonding, the laminate is passed through a cooling station to set the bonding medium. Downstream from the laminating station, the laminate passes through a side edge folding station where edges of the sheet material are folded over side edges of the laminate to finish the side edges of the laminate and subsequently the laminate is passed into a cutter for cutting the continuous laminate into predetermined lengths. Ends of the cut panels then receive rigid edge strips to fully finish the panel. The method of the invention includes the steps performed by the components of the apparatus.

Abstract: The reuse of one or more shared components of graphical modeling tools amongst multiple graphical modeling tools. Graphical designers, or graphical modeling tools, allow for the construction of graphical representations of models in which objects, object properties, and object interrelationships may be visualized. Thus, a variety of graphical modeling tools may be supported and populated with portions of other graphical modeling tools.
