Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for improving product yields and/or product quality during co-processing of fast pyrolysis oil in a fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) reaction environment. The systems and methods can allow for co-processing of an increased amount of fast pyrolysis oil while reducing or minimizing coke production for a feedstock including fast pyrolysis oil and a conventional FCC feed. The reducing or minimizing of coke production can be achieved in part by adding a low molecular weight, non-ionic surfactant to the mixture of fast pyrolysis oil and conventional FCC feed.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a nitrogen-containing diesel solidification point depressant composition, and preparation and application thereof. The nitrogen-containing diesel solidification point depressant composition includes the following components in percentage by weight: 10-40% of monoisopropanolamine; 10-40% of cyclohexane; 0-20% of polyethylene glycol; and 40-60% of N-tetradecyl methacrylamide-tetradecyl methacrylate. After the prepared diesel solidification point depressant composition is added to commercially available 0 #diesel, a solidification point and a cold filter plugging point of the diesel are respectively depressed by 21-25° C. and 9-13° C.

Abstract: A carrier fluid or fluidizer for use in fuel performance additives or fuels including such additives is described herein. The novel carrier fluids include a unique blend of alkoxylated alcohols or polyols providing unexpected performance improvements to fuel performance additives and fuels incorporating the additives. The carrier fluids, when combined with at least a detergent, provide desired valve stick performance and unexpectedly improve the intake valve deposit performance at the same time.

Abstract: An additive formulation suitable for antistatic modification and improving the electrical conductivity of inanimate organic material, consisting essentially of (A) from 1 to 50% by weight of an olefin-sulfur dioxide copolymer, (B) from 1 to 50% by weight of a compound which comprises one or more basic nitrogen atoms and has at least one relatively long-chain linear or branched hydrocarbon radical having at least four carbon atoms or an equivalent structural element which ensures the solubility of component (B) in the inanimate organic material, (C) from 0.1 to 30% by weight of an oil-soluble acid and (D) from 1 to 80% by weight of a high-boiling organic solvent which consists of one or more molecule types, where at least 80% by weight of these molecule types have a boiling point of more than 150° C. at standard pressure, where the sum of all components adds up to 100% by weight.

Abstract: A synergistic mixture comprising from 1 to 99.9% by weight of compounds having structural elements (I) in which the free valencies on the oxygen atom and on the nitrogen atom may be combined to form a five-, six- or seven-membered ring and the benzene ring may also bear substituents at one or more of the free positions, and from 0.1 to 99% by weight of sulfur-containing organic compounds with antioxidant action. This synergistic mixture is suitable as a stabilizer for stabilizing inanimate organic material, especially mineral oil products and fuels, against the action of light, oxygen and heat.
