    摘要: An arrangement for improved dispensed material bead profile control, in which a viscous material is dispensed in a stream upon a surface. The stream is transported along that surface and forms a bead of the viscous material. The bead is then confined with air streams which also reshape the profile of the bead. The material is dispensed by a nozzle which has at least two orifices in its proximity. One orifice is located at a distance from the nozzle which is greater than for the other orifice. The orifices form air streams under pressure and direct the air streams toward the material stream, as well as toward the bead formed on the surface when the material stream is transported along that surface.

    摘要: In one embodiment, a method for managing an industrial process wherein a processor transforms electronic data into an energy prognosis is provided. An energy related test signal including effective power test data indicative of electrical energy consumed by an energy consuming machine may be received. The energy related test signal may be partitioned into an energy related test sub-signal. Mathematical functions may be applied to the energy related test sub-signal to extract a feature set of data from the energy related test sub-signal. The feature set of data may be transformed with a transformation matrix into a reduced test feature set. The reduced test feature set may be input into a performance assessment algorithm based at least in part upon a reduced training feature set derived from data indicative of electrical energy consumed during healthy operation. A power-based performance index may be generated with the performance assessment algorithm.

    摘要: A DVIS designed to be installed in an MDU/commercial property environment has a wall-mounted cabinet which integrates all the necessary technology for any of its intended applications. The cabinet can be opened in order to access the front panel to remove and/or add plug-in application cards. A channel deletion filter can be used to produce an empty QAM slot into which locally produced programming can be inserted. The invention is applicable to digital video encoding (e.g., MPEG-2 or MPEG-4), reception and demodulation, multiplexing and digital transmission (e.g., QAM modulation/transmission) and more specifically to a multiple-channel encoder suitable for use in a location at the edge of a broadband network. Depending on the terminology, the edge of the network can range from the last centralized point of a broadband service provider's architecture (e.g., Hub site for MSO) or even the to the subscriber premise itself.

    摘要: A method of prognosing a mechanical system to predict when a failure may occur is disclosed. Measurement data corresponding to the mechanical system is used to extract one or more features by decomposing the measurement data into a feature space. A prediction model is then selected from a plurality of prediction models for the one or more features based at least on part on a degradation status of the mechanical system and a reinforcement learning model. A predicted feature space is generated by applying the selective prediction model to the feature space as well as a confidence value by comparing the predicted feature space with a normal baseline distribution, a faulty baseline distribution, or a combination thereof. A status of mechanical system based at least in part on the confidence value is then provided.
