摘要: The present invention relates to a sizing composition that, when applied to paper substrate, creates a substrate, preferably suitable for inkjet printing, having increased print density, print sharpness, low HST, and/or image dry time, the substrate preferably having high brightness and reduced color-to-color bleed as well. In addition, the present invention relates to a method of reducing the HST of a paper substrate by applying the sizing composition to at least one surface thereof. Further, the application relates to methods of making and using the sizing composition, as well as methods of making and using the paper containing the sizing composition.

摘要: The invention relates to a gloss coated multifunctional printing paper that can be used with a variety of office printing equipment including inkjet and electrophotographic and to processes of making and using the paper. a paper substrate; and a pigmented composition coated on at least one surface of the substrate, said pigmented coating composition comprising (1) a first pigment having a BET surface area in the range of from about 50 to about 750 m2/g,; (2) a second pigment having a BET surface area in the range of from about 5 to about 49 m2/g; and (3) a polymeric binder, Said coated paper having a coating gloss equal to or greater than about 30% at 75° and a Bristow Absorption length of less than about 180 mm. The coating compositions may contain other additives such as lubricants, optical brighteners and coating rheology modifiers. The coating formulations can be applied to the base stock using any of a large number of coating techniques including application roll with bent blade, rod, air knife, slot die, curtain spray and gravure. The paper can be used with various inkjet and electrophotographic printing apparatus and techniques.

摘要: This invention provides a gloss-coated electrophotographic paper with superior runnability and print quality in colour and monochrome copiers and printers. The coated paper product comprises a paper substrate coated on at least one side with a pigmented coating. The pigment coating consists of a mixture of at least three different pigments and a binder. The coating may further include a lubricant. Optionally, the coating formulation may contain an optical brightening agent, a defoamer and a thickener. In addition, the gloss coated electrophotographic paper of this invention provides a superior toner adhesion in colour and monochrome electrophotographic imaging applications.

摘要: The present invention provides an isothermal processing method for making an isothermal processed copper clad aluminum composite comprising: providing an aluminum component and a copper component; cleaning the aluminum component and shape finishing the aluminum component; extruding the aluminum component into a core aluminum billet; cleaning the copper component; transforming the copper component into a copper cladding layer; cladding longitudinal and circumferential surfaces of the core aluminum billet with the copper cladding layer and molding the core aluminum billet and the copper cladding layer together to form a copper cladded aluminum billet; and transforming the copper cladded aluminum billet into an isothermal processed copper cladded aluminum composite through isothermal rolling and annealing. The present invention also provides an isothermal processed copper cladded aluminum composite and a system for manufacturing an isothermal processed copper cladded aluminum composite.

摘要: The present invention provides a glasses-free optical 3D stereoscopic display screen comprising a conventional display screen and an optical element assembly wherein the optical element assembly includes at least one optical element and utilizes refraction effects, when an ordinary 2D image shown on the conventional display screen is viewed by a viewer, refraction of the optical element assembly induces the viewer's left eye to perceive a left eye offset image and right eye to perceive a right eye offset image of the 2D image and cause the viewer to perceive a 3D stereoscopic image which falls within one of the following viewing modes: (i) positive parallax hyperstereo viewing mode, (ii) positive parallax hypostereo viewing mode, (iii) negative parallax hyperstereo viewing mode, and, (iv) negative parallax hypostereo viewing mode.
