The invention is characterised in that it consists in proceeding with an amount of cyamide slightly higher than the stoichiometric quantity. The invention also concerns quasi-spherical agglomerates of aminoguanidine bicarbonate crystals.

The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of products of formula (1): in which R denotes H or an alkyl group containing from 1 to 10 carbon atoms, it being possible for this alkyl group to be substituted by one or more aryl, heteroaryl, hydroxyl or alkenyl groups, in which process hydrazine is reacted with a deficiency of carboxylic acid RCOOH and then the water of reaction and optionally the water of dilution of the hydrazine and of the acid is removed. It is particularly useful for preparing 4-amino-1,2,4-triazole.

The invention concerns a method for preparing methyl ethyl ketone azine which consists in: (a) reacting ammonia, hydrogen peroxide and methyl ethyl ketone in the presence of a working solution to form an azine; (b) separating the working solution and the azine possibly containing methyl ethyl ketone which has not reacted and butanol-2; (c) recycling the working solution to step (a) after optional treatment; (d) separating the methyl ethyl ketone and the butanol-2 from the azine. The butanol-2 of the flow in step (d) is either purged or dehydrogenated in MEK and recycled at step (a).

The invention concerns a method for preparing an azoiminoether hydrochloride which consists in reacting an azonitrile with an alcohol and hydrochloric acid in an aromatic solvent, wherein the molar ratio R=HCl/azonitrile is >2 when the alcohol is methanol and >3 when the alcohol is ethanol or a higher alcohol. The invention also concerns a method for preparing an azocarboxylic acid ester which consists in the synthesis of an azoiminoether hydrochloride by the inventive method and, hydrolysis in the presence of the resulting azoiminoether hydrochloride. Said methods enable to obtain liquid composition of azocarboxylic acid esters. The invention further concerns mixed azoiminoether salts of formula (II′). The invention also concerns mixed azoiminocarboxylic acid esters corresponding to the formula (III′).
