    摘要： An electrical connector assembly for a power tool, a power tool and methods for assembling a power tool. A one-piece trace or spider terminal member assembly provides points of connection for the motor components, such as the field windings, the brushes and the switch. To assemble the motor, the terminal member assembly is positioned in the motor housing. To mount the terminal member assembly, the terminal member assembly is preferably co-molded with the housing or, alternatively, may snap-fit into connectors formed on the housing. The terminal member assembly and the housing are then preferably punched or stamped at points to provide the necessary number of electrically separated contact elements to connect the components of the motor. For example, the female ends or terminals of the field windings, the brushes and the switch are connected to the electrically separated contact elements to provide a suitable complete electrical circuit for the motor. Non-conducting members are positioned between adjacent ones of the electrically separated contact elements.

The power tool comprises a housing defining a housing thread, an electric motor, an electric circuit connected to the motor, a power cord removably connectable with the housing, the cord being connectable to a power source and to the circuit to connect the circuit to the power source, and a locking assembly for locking the power cord to the housing and to the circuit. The cord includes a cord electrical connector, and a mounting portion defining a cord thread, the cord thread being complementary to and engageable with the housing thread. The locking assembly includes a first locking member supported by one of the housing and the mounting portion, and a second locking member supported by one of the housing and the mounting portion, the first locking member being movable between a locking position, in which the first locking member engages the second locking member, and an unlocked position, in which the first locking member is disengaged from the second locking member. To connect the cord to the housing and to the circuit, the cord electrical connector is electrically connected to the circuit, the mounting portion is engaged with the housing to engage the cord thread and the housing thread, and the first locking member is moved to the locking position so that the first locking member engages the second locking member to prevent the cord thread and the housing thread from being disengaged.

The power tool comprises a housing defining a housing thread, an electric motor, an electric circuit connected to the motor, a power cord removably connectable with the housing, the cord being connectable to a power source and to the circuit to connect the circuit to the power source, and a locking assembly for locking the power cord to the housing and to the circuit. The cord includes a cord electrical connector, and a mounting portion defining a cord thread, the cord thread being complementary to and engageable with the housing thread.     摘要： A circular saw having an improved line-of-sight. The circular saw comprises a motor for rotatably driving a saw blade about an axis to cut a workpiece, a bevel angle being defined between the cutting plane of the saw blade and a surface of the workpiece, a housing supporting the motor; a shoe plate supporting the circular saw on the workpiece to be cut, the shoe plate being pivotably connected to the housing to adjust the bevel angle; a main handle supported by the housing; an auxiliary handle supported by the housing; and an indicator for indicating the bevel angle. Preferably, the main handle, the auxiliary handle and the indicator are arranged so that, in the cutting position, the operator can view the saw blade as the saw blade cuts the workpiece and can view the indicator. The operator holds the main handle with one hand and the auxiliary handle with the other hand. When the operator holds the auxiliary handle with the other hand, the operator's other hand and the auxiliary handle do not obscure the operator's view of the saw blade as the saw blade cuts the workpiece.
