摘要： A photographic exposure control apparatus includes a directable light source, and an auxiliary shutter which is located between a camera lens and a subject. The auxiliary shutter includes a housing structure which has a window therein. The window is selectively opened and closed by a blade which is movably mounted on the housing structure, which is motor driven, and which allows the housing structure to block entry of light into a camera lens when the window is closed, and to allow light into the lens when the window is open. A filter holder is mounted on the housing and is selectively remotely insertable between the lens and a subject.

摘要： A fastening device configured for an easy removable attachment to fabric that is employable with one hand to form a compressive engagement with a mounting point on fabric that is easy to use and non-damaging to fabric. The device can be easily operated by users with limited hand or finger dexterity or only having a single useable hand. The engagement provides a compressive gripping engagement means which is easily positioned to a mounting position on fabric which can be sighted through a gap in a central area of the body of the device. The enhanced gripping means are provided by a toothed gripping means or a friction enhancing means.

An incentive reward is generated that is to be provided to at least one member of a group of users of a game networking system based on the group exercising a level of influence over a location during a time period that is greater than a level of influence of an additional group of users over the location during the time period. It is determined that the group exercised the level of influence over the location during the time period. The incentive reward is provided to the at least one member of the group based on the determining that the level of influence exercised by the group is greater than the level of influence of the additional group over the location during the time period.

摘要： Described is a system and method for synthesizing polymeric molecules such as oligonucleotides and polypeptides. The system is capable of continuously synthesizing molecules by providing an array of reaction sites and an array of stations for carrying out synthetic manipulations. The reaction sites in the former array can be placed in a fixed order and at fixed intervals relative to each other. Similarly, the stations can be placed in a fixed order and at fixed intervals relative to each other. The two arrays can be moved relative to each other such that the stations carry out desired steps of a reaction scheme at each reaction site. The relative locations of the stations and the schedule for the relative movement can correlate with the order and duration of reaction steps in the reaction scheme such that once a reaction site has completed a cycle of interacting with the full array of stations then the reaction scheme is complete.

摘要： A synchronized filter mechanism is intended for a use with a camera, which has a flash synchronizer, and plural stroboscopic light sources. The filter mechanism includes a filter holder, which holds plural filters in optical alignment with the camera, a subject and the light sources. The filters may be selected to have differing optical properties. A drive mechanism is provided for driving the filter holder. A control circuit is provided for controlling the drive motor and for triggering the light sources at predetermined times relative the optical alignment of the camera, the filters and the light sources.

摘要： A toilet modernizer is provided for allowing touchless manipulation of a toilet seat and lid by a user. An outer housing that is attachable under the toilet lid contains the other components of the device in one simple module. As part of the module, a latching member actuated by a user-manipulated actuator element selectively latches and unlatches the seat and lid, so that the user can select to lift the two elements as a unit or to lift only the lid, all the while without having to touch any part of the toilet. In an embodiment a lighting element is included, and in a further embodiment, a scent spray module is also included in the module.
