摘要: Provided is an unconstrained wearable spirometer apparatus. The apparatus includes a variable resistor including a conductive yarn, the length of which changes according to a change in circumference of one's chest when breathing, and having a resistance which changes according to a change in length of the conductive yarn, a resistance-voltage converter converting the resistance of the variable resistor into a voltage, an analog-digital converter converting the voltage in an analog-digital manner, and digitizing the converted results, a cross-sectional capacity calculator calculating changes in cross-sectional capacity of one's chest according to the digitized voltage, an adder adding the calculated changes in cross-sectional capacity and calculating lung capacity, and a transmitter externally transmitting the calculated lung capacity information. Therefore, lung capacity can be measured by wearing such an apparatus in the form of clothing without the use of an external apparatus or device.

摘要: There is provided a method for detecting Ground Glass Opacity (GGO) using chest computed tomography. The method includes detecting a candidate cell having a brightness value within a detection range by sequentially scanning a three-dimensional image of a pulmonary region, and designating the candidate cell as a seed cell when surrounding cells of the candidate cell have brightness values within the detection range; when a plurality of seed cells are obtained by the designating of the candidate cell as a seed cell, grouping adjacent seed cells to obtain one or more candidate zones; and detecting one or more zones, which have a greater size than a GGO detection size and including therein more than the detection reference number of seed cells, out of the one or more candidate zones, and setting the detected one or more zones as one or more GGO candidates.

摘要: A system and method capable of measuring the fat content in the target organ by the gray level distribution of pixels forming a ultrasonic section image and a recording medium of recording a fat content measuring program are disclosed. In order to quantify the fat content of the target organ from the information of the stored ultrasonic section image, a target section and a comparative section in each of the longitudinal sections are set, and a representative gray level value of the respective section is calculated, thereby the fat content of the target section is quantified in a numerical value relative to the representative gray level value of the comparative section.

摘要: There are provided a touchpad using resistive electro-conductive fibers and an input device having the same, which can be used for controlling a personal terminal such as a computer by receiving a user's input using a signal representing a motion of the user detected by the resistive electro-conductive fiber in contact with the user's body part such as a finger, instead of using a separate input device such as a mouse. The touchpad includes a plurality of motion detectors and a signal analyzer. The motion detectors each include a resistive electro-conductive fiber having a resistance value varied according to a change in length caused by contact with a human body part, and a signal generator outputting a signal corresponding to the varied resistance value. The signal analyzer analyzes the signal from each of the motion detectors, and generates a motion signal representing a motion of the human body part in contact with the touchpad.
