摘要: Methods and apparatus are described for enabling downlink transparent relay in a wireless communication network. In a wireless communications network, a base station and a mobile station may communicate with each other via a relay station, as needed. Transparent relay may allow for relay communication between a base station and a mobile station although the mobile station is unaware of the relay station. However, non-contiguous transmission of a relay station may lead to channel quality measurement and channel estimation degradation during downlink transparent relay. According to some aspects, a base station may schedule a mobile station to a transmission mode that utilizes dedicated pilot signals for downlink transparent relay, and a relay station may transmit data and dedicated pilot signals over the same channel resources as the base station. According to some aspects, the relay station may null common pilot signals transmitted by the base station.

摘要: In a cellular network supporting both legacy standard-compliant mobile terminals and next generation standard-compliant mobile terminals, both legacy reference signals and next generation reference signals are supported. A method of operation of a MIMO transmitter compliant with both standards includes: defining a matrix of resource blocks within an information channel of the cellular network, wherein each resource block corresponds to a region of subcarriers of a transmission timeslot at a given frequency subband; assigning a first set of reference signals (RSs) for the legacy standard-compliant mobile terminals to resource blocks at specific locations within the matrix to be transmitted by the MIMO transmitter, the specific locations being defined by the legacy standard; and assigning a second set of RSs for the next-generation standard-compliant mobile terminals to other resource blocks within the matrix to be transmitted by the MIMO transmitter.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses are described for cooperation of two or more devices to improve the transmissions over a Uu interface. A source receives or transmits an indicator indicating a first mode of two modes of cooperation between the source apparatus and at least a first cooperating device. The two modes of cooperation includes a joint communication mode and a relay mode of cooperation. If the first mode is the joint communication mode, at least a portion of the data, intended for the intended recipient, is transmitted to at least the first cooperating device to be further transmitted by the first cooperating device to the intended recipient. A same or different portion of the data is transmitted to the intended recipient or to a second cooperating device to be further transmitted by the second cooperating device to the intended recipient.

摘要: An aspect of the disclosure provides a method for grant free communication by an electronic device (ED). Such a method includes receiving a plurality of grant free configuration profiles from a base station; and transmitting to a receiving device, an indication message associated with usage of the plurality of grant free configuration profiles. In some embodiments, the indication message indicates a selected grant free configuration profile. In some embodiments, the indication message indicates at least one of: configuration profile switching; a request for a new configuration profile; transmission parameter changes for a given configuration profile; and a release of a configuration profile. In some embodiments, the selected configuration profile specifies a plurality of data resource blocks, and the indication message indicates which data resource blocks contains data to be decoded by the receiving device. In some embodiments, the indication message is sent via a semi-static control channel.

摘要: Disclosed are a voice recognition system and a construction method for the voice recognition system. By way of layering the system, a general semantic recognition operation for the system is separated from a specific semantic recognition operation for an application program; and by way of classifying the application programs and abstracting out a common performance function, the system can find the application program matching the voice content semantics very efficiently and a third-party program is easily added into the existing voice recognition system. The present invention maps the performance function to a regular expression with semantic variables, so that the system can recognize more semantic expression manners with optimization of the semantic recognition. Therefore, the system can show more humanized characteristics.
