    摘要: A protective device for a tube bonded on a plasma display panel (PDP). The PDP includes a plate which does not break when experiencing a first force, an air holo for passing air above and below the plate and in air communications with the tube, and doughnut-shaped base disposed around the air hole and the tube. The protective device includes a hollow shield with a first opening on a bottom end bonded to the doughnut-shaped base for containing the tube, and a binding compound for binding the hollow shield to the doughnut-shaped base. The hollow shield remains bonded to the doughnut-shaped base when experiencing a second force which is smaller than the first force. When the hollow shield experiences an external force greater than the second force, the hollow shield will separate from the doughnut shaped base without breaking the plate.

    摘要: A plasma display panel(PDP) is disclosed. The PDP includes a rear plate, a front plate spaced apart and positioned in parallel with the rear plate, and a plurality of barrier ribs positioned in the space between the rear plate and the front plate to define a plurality of discharge space groups. Each discharge space group includes a first discharge space, a second discharge space, and a third discharge space. Each discharge space is filled with the different discharge gases including a first, a second, and a third discharge gas for respectively emitting of one of three primary colors. The rear plate of the PDP has a reflecting layer to reflect the light and prevent the light from penetrating through the rear plate so as to increase the luminescent efficiency of the PDP.

    摘要: A display panel is disclosed. The display panel includes a substrate having an edge and a printed circuit board. A plurality of bonding electrodes are formed on the substrate, and positioned along the edge of the substrate. Each bonding electrode neither overlaps nor connects with any of the other bonding electrodes. The bonding electrodes are spaced from the edge of the substrate by a distance. A plurality of board electrodes are formed on the printed circuit board. Each board electrode neither overlaps nor connects with any other board electrodes. The position of each board electrode corresponds to that of one of the bonding electrodes. An auxiliary bonding pad is formed between the bonding electrodes and the edge of the substrate. When a conductive adhesive layer and a protective adhesive layer are formed to adhere the substrate with the printed circuit board, the auxiliary bonding pad can reduce a space formed between the bonding electrodes and the conductive adhesive layer, and also eliminates the possibility of the bubble formation therebetween. Therefore, the substrate is completely sealed with the printed circuit board.

A second thickness of the second fluorescent layer is larger than a first thickness of the first fluorescent layer so that the surface area of the first fluorescent layer is larger than the surface area of the second fluorescent layer.

    摘要: An alignment mark for a plasma display panel (PDP). The alignment mark comprises a first and a second alignment patterns installed on a front and a rear substrate respectively. The second alignment pattern on the non-display area is simultaneously formed with the rib barrier formation on the display area of the rear substrate, wherein the second alignment pattern is hexagonal-honeycomb. The first alignment pattern on the front substrate is simultaneously formed with the non-transparent material fabrication, such as a bus electrode or black matrix fabrication, and corresponds to a space within the second alignment pattern. The flat panel display further includes a plurality of barrier ribs positioned on the display area of the rear substrate, a first channel rib positioned on at least two sides of the display area of the rear substrate, and a second channel rib spaced from the first channel rib by a predetermined distance. The first channel rib and the second channel rib form a sealing channel. A sealing frit fills the sealing channel to seal together the front substrate and the rear substrate.

    摘要: A Plasma Display Panel (PDP) apparatus, system and method, includes a circuit framework structure, chassis structure, panel structure, TCP structure, at least one thermal pad structure and an insulating structure. An integrated circuit is coupled to at least one thermal pad structure and the TCP structure, and the circuit framework structure is disposed external to the TCP structure. Therefore, efficient dissipation of heat that is generated during operation of the PDP structures may be obtained. In addition, the amount of accumulated heat in the PDP structure may be significantly reduced due the PDP apparatus and structure configuration, thereby increasing the PDP operational life.
