摘要： Systems and methods for providing demographic information for a geo-demographic cluster area within a predefined geographic region are disclosed. An illustrative method may include the steps of associating selected data entries from multiple databases with parcels of land in a predefined geographic region, generating household-specific demographic profiles for each parcel of land using data records from the databases, generating an aggregate dataset for at least two parcels of land by combining the household-specific demographic profiles for each parcel of land, and outputting selective data from the aggregate dataset to a user such as an individual or organization. The step of generating an aggregate dataset for at least two parcels of land can be used to protect the identity of individual residents or organizations located within the predefined geographic region.

摘要： Described herein is a weight or pressure measuring shovel. The shoveling apparatus has a broad blade assembly or scoop assembly including an elongate handle member. A coupler assembly is designed to couple the curved plate assembly to allow angular orientation or movement of the curved plate assembly to be adjusted relative to the handle member. A force transducer converts the weight or pressure of a material on the curved plate assembly into an electrical signal designed to communicate the weight or pressure of a material such as snow, sand, dirt, or ice. A control module in a housing mounted on the elongate handle is designed to receive electrical signals from the force transducer assembly or a load cell assembly. A display assembly is coupled to the electrical scale assembly and control module.

摘要： An orthopedic plate is specifically configured for use in osteotomies, in which part of the plate extends into a portion of a first bone segment and part is external to the cortical surface of an adjacent bone segment to fix the segments to allow them to fuse. The plate has a first end and a second end where the end which is inserted into the bone has a chamfer and a through hole having a hole axis optionally at an oblique angle to the longitudinal axis of the plate, and which can receive a screw, peg or pin. The second end of the plate includes a locking screw hole and optionally including a compression slot extending in a direction toward a screw hole in the opposing end. Optionally, the non-locking hole has a shroud that forms an arc or portion of a cylinder over the hole. A plate driver having a recess that holds the plate is used to insert the plate into the bone.

摘要： A bone plate screw-blocking system and method that comprises a plate with at least two bone screw receiving holes, blocking elements, bone screws, and a tool capable of simultaneously actuating at least two blocking elements. The plate includes an upper surface and a lower surface with bone screw receiving holes that extend through both surfaces of the plate. The bone screws couple the plate to the bone via the bone screw receiving holes. The blocking elements are movably positioned proximate each bone screw receiving hole. In an initial unblocked position, the blocking elements do not cover the bone screw receiving holes. Upon movement into final blocked positions, the blocking elements cover at least a portion of the bone screw receiving holes and preferably extend over at least a portion of the bone screw during use.
