An illustrative method may include the steps of associating selected data entries from multiple databases with parcels of land in a predefined geographic region, generating household-specific demographic profiles for each parcel of land using data records from the databases, generating an aggregate dataset for at least two parcels of land by combining the household-specific demographic profiles for each parcel of land, and outputting selective data from the aggregate dataset to a user such as an individual or organization. The step of generating an aggregate dataset for at least two parcels of land can be used to protect the identity of individual residents or organizations located within the predefined geographic region.

The CBoot voltage at the CBoot_pin is hen determined to see if the CBBoot voltage at the CBoot_pin is above a predetermined CBoot voltage for a second predetermined amount of time. The Regulator is then switched to operate in SMPS mode if the CBoot voltage is substantially continuously above the predetermined CBoot voltage for a second predetermined amount of time. The SMPS is operated in linear mode if the CBoot voltage is substantially continuously below or equal to the predetermined CBoot voltage for a second predetermined amount of time.

The load control circuit includes a reference current, and a sense current representative of a load current. In addition, the load control circuit includes a comparator circuit that drives a control signal in response to a comparison between the reference current and the sense current. The switched load is electrically coupled to a load voltage signal to provide loading to the load voltage signal. The switched load is operable to switch between a first loading factor and a second loading factor in response to the control signal.

A differential bus network, in general, or a controller area network (CAN) driver, in particular, controls and minimizes the variation on the common-mode signal of the CAN bus. This CAN driver also provides improved symmetry between its differential output signals, CANH and CANL, and provides protection for its low voltage devices from voltage transients occurring on its output lines. The common-mode signal is sensed and buffered, then during the dominant to recessive transition, the bus signals are shorted to the buffered common mode voltage. Specifically, additional switches or transistors are used to pull the differential output signals, CANH and CANL, to the common mode signal VCM when the state of the CAN bus transitions from dominant to recessive. This improvement minimizes high frequency spikes in the common-mode signal and eliminates DC shifts during transitions of the state of the CAN bus. A driver system may include a plurality of CAN drivers are serially interconnected to form a driver system, wherein each downstream driver stage receives a time-delayed form of the digital input signal TxD, each stage providing a time-delayed contribution to the differential output signals of the overall driver system.

A phosphor layer is positioned to absorb UV light and re-radiate usable light in other wavelengths. The UV light is reflected to the phosphor by a thin film placed in a light path. The phosphor re-radiates the usable light in a direction of the light path. Curved mirrors or directive reflectors are utilized to direct some of the re-radiated light toward the light path. In one embodiment, usable light in the light path is reflected by a thin film, UV light is passed by the thin film toward the phosphor, and the re-radiated light is directed toward the reflected visible light path.
