The platform comprises a first end configured for mounting on a stringer of the rib bay (for example by an interference fit), and a second end configured for mounting on another stringer of the rib bay (for example on feet mounted on ball-and-socket joints). A method of operating in an aircraft rib bay comprises the steps of providing a rib bay platform of adjustable length; adjusting the length of the platform; mounting the platform between the two stringers; whereby a person may then operate inside the aircraft rib bay while being supported on the platform.

The polishing belt is made with an abrasive outer surface to perform the polishing, and an inner surface for engagement with the perimeters of the drive wheel and the polishing wheel. The routing wheel is engaged with the outer surface of the polishing belt, such that the contact arc of the polishing belt with the polishing wheel differs from an arc of the polishing wheel perimeter extending from a first tangent line between the drive wheel and the polishing wheel to a second tangent line between the drive wheel and the polishing wheel.

    摘要: A circuit is disclosed for disconnecting a power source upon the detection of a leakage current comprising a power cable having an insulated first and a second wire. The power cable has a conductive shield surrounding the first and second wires with a drain wire electrically contacting the conductive shield. A disconnect switch is interposed between the power source and the power cable. A primary circuit controls the disconnect switch. A secondary circuit is connected to the drain wire for sensing a leakage current between the conductive shield and one of the first and second wires. An optical switch interconnects the primary circuit and the secondary circuit for opening the disconnect switch upon the secondary circuit sensing a leakage current.

    摘要: A system for automatically retargeting test vectors for application on tester systems having different performance capabilities is provided. The system includes a user selectable mode selector that can be adjustable between different performance modes, e.g. high, medium, and low. In high performance mode, the system allows test vectors to be applied using a high performance test system, e.g. a tester having high pin count. In low performance mode, the same test vectors can be applied but using a low performance test system, e.g. a tester having low pin count. By allowing the same test vectors to be used in a high performance or a low performance test environment, a testing facility can make maximum use of its available testing equipment for efficiently testing a device.

    摘要: A method to discover defective coaxial shielding in cable lines in a building by inducing a test current into the nearby alternating current (AC) power lines (also known as “mains” in the United Kingdom) and measuring a resulting induced test signal inside the coaxial cable lines. A test signal current driven onto the power lines from a wall socket will propagate back to the main electrical box in the building. The main electrical box is normally connected to a ground, such as water pipes or a ground rod driven into the earth. Some of the test signal will be transferred to the outside of the coaxial cable in the building by radiation, conduction or induction. If the coaxial cable has perfect shield integrity, none of the test signal will be induced into the center conductor of the coaxial cable. However, if the coaxial cable has poor shielding integrity or a shield break, some portion of the test current will be transferred into the inside of the cable, potentially causing interference with cable signals. A broadband test signal can be intentionally driven onto the building's power lines and measured at a convenient location in the building's coaxial cable, such as at the tap, the ground block, or inside the house. Optionally, the test signal can propagate back to the headend where it can be observed and measured. A display from the headend, such as spectrogram showing the test signal's interference, can be relayed back to the field where the test result can be viewed by a technician. Methods are disclosed to reduce interference of the test signal with upstream data signals.
