摘要: A method, system and product for the material reduction of counterfeit and identity/maker fraud as it relates to payment vehicles and other authentication-requiring documents. The authentication system allows an institution to apply a code comprising relevant elements of an end-user to an authentication-requiring document. The authentication system allows institutions to validate the authentication-requiring documents at the point of presentment. The authentication system is stand alone and self-authenticating, allowing institutions to include the method, system and product anywhere in the institutions' document verification or manufacturing process.

摘要: A gas turbine engine has an oil tube for delivering oil through a high temperature zone of the engine to an engine component for cooling and lubrication. An insulation tube surrounds the oil tube and extends in a substantial length of the oil tube. The opposed ends of the insulation tube are integrally and sealingly connected to respective end portions of the oil tube to form a dead air annulus between the oil tube and the insulation tube.

摘要: Supplemented matrices comprising a PTH releasably incorporated therein, optionally containing a granular material, which are used to heal bone fractures, particularly bone fractures with a risk of becoming delayed unions or non-unions, are described herein. The PTH is incorporated either through covalent linkage to the matrix or through non-covalent interaction with the matrix and/or the granules. These supplemented matrices decrease the time of healing compared to autograft and or trigger healing of bone fractures which otherwise would not heal. The matrices are biocompatible, preferably biodegradable, and can be formed in vitro or in vivo, at the time of implantation. The PTH may be a part of a fusion peptide. PTH can be incorporated into the matrices with full retention of its bioactivity. PTH can be releasably incorporated in the matrix.

摘要: The present invention concerns configuration of a new category of integrated circuitry for adaptive computing. The various embodiments provide an executable information module for an adaptive computing engine (ACE) integrated circuit and may include configuration information, operand data, and may also include routing and power control information. The ACE IC comprises a plurality of heterogeneous computational elements coupled to an interconnection network. The plurality of heterogeneous computational elements include corresponding computational elements having fixed and differing architectures, such as fixed architectures for different functions such as memory, addition, multiplication, complex multiplication, subtraction, configuration, reconfiguration, control, input, output, and field programmability. In response to configuration information, the interconnection network is operative to configure the plurality of heterogeneous computational elements for a plurality of different functional modes.

摘要: A kit of parts for use in the manufacture of a particle cassette for a needleless syringe device. The kit may include a first cassette part having a first rupturable membrane sealed thereto and a second cassette part having a second rupturable membrane sealed thereto. The first and second cassette parts may be arranged to be attachable together so as to create a chamber for the confinement of particles between the first and second membranes. The first and second cassette parts may be substantially annular and the first cassette part defines a receptacle for receiving particles. The second cassette part may be attachable concentrically around or inside the first cassette part.

摘要: A telecommunications system is described which allows a push-to-talk: over cellular (PoC) communication session to be established between PoC Clients comprised in respective mobile terminals (1A, 1A′, 1B). The PoC Clients form a group of devices between which a PoC communication session is established. A single controlling PoC function (22B) controls the admission of new members to the PoC communication session and the removal of members from the PoC communication session. Each PoC Client communicates with the PoC controlling function (22B) via a respective PoC participating function (20A, 20A′,20B). In accordance with an advantageous feature of the embodiment described, the controlling PoC function (22B) issues a Talk Burst Granted message having a modified form to a PoC Client (via its associated PoC participating function) when that client is given permission to transmit a talk burst. The modified Talk Burst Granted message includes an indication of the number of active members in the PoC communication session. This information is extracted by the relevant PoC participating function and enables that PoC participating function to determine the number of PoC Clients to which the talk burst originating from its PoC Client will be transmitted. This enables the PoC participating function to provide an indication to its PoC Client of the number of PoC Clients to which its talk bursts will be transmitted and/or to cause a charge to be rendered to the user of its PoC Client in accordance with the number of recipients.

摘要: The present invention includes an apparatus, method and system for generating a configuration of an adaptive circuit which is inseparable from selected content. Either the adaptive circuit or encrypted, selected content has a unique identifier. In one of the preferred method and system embodiments in which the adaptive circuit has the unique identifier, a request for the selected content is received, along with the unique identifier, such as by a network server. The selected content is then encrypted, based upon the unique identifier, to form encrypted content. Configuration information for the adaptive circuit, corresponding to the unique identifier and the encrypted content, is generated to form corresponding configuration information. A service provider, such as through a network server, transfers the encrypted content and the corresponding configuration information to the adaptive circuit having the unique identifier, which may then be configured for use of the selected content. As a consequence, the present invention creates adaptive hardware configurations which are uniquely coupled to the selected content.
