摘要: A clamp pad is provided for being selectively mounted to each jaw of a bar clamp assembly. The clamp pad can be easily mounted to the clamp jaw and radially locked in place with respect to the bar clamp assembly. In an embodiment of the invention, the clamp pad is configured to selectively be fit on either of the clamp jaws of the bar clamp assembly to facilitate assembly. The clamp pad defines a substantially increased clamping area to evenly distribute force and prevent damage to the associated workpiece. The increased dimensions of the clamp pad also stabilizes the bar clamp assembly, which eliminates tipping and thus eliminates the need for associated assemblies such as clamp saddles and the like.

摘要: A quick connect/disconnect coupling that eliminates the need for tools and the tedious loosening and tightening of hose clamps when detaching and reattaching hoses, such as dust collection system hoses, between machines. The coupling includes a first fitting adapted to be secured to a machine such as a debris generating machine or a dust collector, and a second fitting fixedly secured to a longitudinal end of the associated hose for being partially engaged with and locked to the first fitting. The fittings are preferably translucent or clear so that debris flow can be observed.

摘要: A method of installing a piping system, including applying mark(s) to a surface along a line parallel to a desired center line of the piping system; selecting a plurality of pipe mounting brackets, each pipe mounting bracket including a mounting portion and a pipe supporting portion projecting from said mounting portion and including an arm portion having a generally arched surface sized and extending to support at least a portion of an outer circumferential surface of a pipe and thereby defining a pipe receiving receptacle. Each mounting portion includes a predetermined, indicator part disposed at a predetermined lateral and vertical position with respect to a radial center of a circular part of the arched surface of the respective bracket. The indicator part of each selected bracket is aligned with the mark(s) and the mounting portion of the bracket is fastened to the surface with the fastener.

摘要: A plug cutter is provided that has a main body with a shank extending from one end and plurality of cutting blades extending from the other end. The blades have a plurality of facets defining cutting edges for cutting and shaving stock material to form a plug. The blades define an inner bore having a staged taper and a radial relief portion is provided so that a gap is defined between an outer surface of the plug being formed and the radially relieved portion of the inner surface of the blades. The plug cutter has a built-in depth stop to provide plug height repeatability and quick set up.

摘要: A countersink assembly including a countersink sleeve body with a distal cutting edge, a longitudinal bore to receive and secured to a drill bit, and a flute extending from the distal cutting edge. A depth stop collar having a longitudinal bore is disposed on and secured to the countersink sleeve body. In an example embodiment, the longitudinal bore of the depth stop collar includes at least one passage for chip egress. In addition or in the alternative, the flute includes a flat surface and a part cylindrical surface extending from the distal cutting edge along the length of the flute at an angle to the longitudinal bore of the countersink sleeve body so as to present a slight down-cut spiral.

摘要: A plug cutter is described that is rotatable about an axis of rotation. the plug cutter has a main body having a longitudinal axis coinciding with the axis of rotation. The main body defines a bore extending axially therein. A shank extends axially from one end of the main body along the axis of rotation. A plurality of cutting blades extend axially from the opposite end of the main body and each terminate in a distal end. The plurality of blades are adapted to cut a plug from a piece of stock as the plug cutter is rotated about the axis of rotation and advanced axially into the piece of stock. Each of the blades has leading and trailing edges. Each of the blades also has an inner surface and a radially relieved portion facing the bore. The radially relieved portion begins at a relief start position and ends at a relief end position so that, as the plug cutter cuts the plug, a gap is defined between an outer surface of the plug being cut and the radially relieved portion. The plug cutter also includes a plug ejecting portion extending through the main body to permit removal of the plug from the plug cutter. Finally, the bore may be tapered inwardly or outwardly from the blades to the main body.
