Abstract: A building management system includes a plurality of devices of building equipment configured to provide status data. The building management system also includes an equipment management server configured to assign and store parent-child relationships for the plurality of devices of building equipment. The equipment management server is also configured to monitor the status data to detect faults and generate a fault visualization interface. The fault visualization interface provides provide a list of the devices with detected faults, allows a user to select one or more of the devices from the list, and presents a parent-child relationship widget for the selected device. The parent-child relationship widget includes a list of parent devices for the selected device and a list of child devices for the selected device. Each device on the lists of parent devices and child devices has a status indicator indicating whether the device is in a fault condition.

Abstract: A sensor management system includes a historical data repository, a building management system (BMS) controller, and a sensor diagnostics system. The historical data repository may store historical data by a plurality of sensors. The BMS controller may control one or more components of a building subsystem based on data provided by one or more sensors. The sensor diagnostic system may receive, from a sensor, sensor data. The sensor diagnostic system may determine at least one fault in the sensor data. The sensor diagnostic system may select, from the historical data repository, substitute sensor data for the sensor based on a comparison of one or more attributes of the sensor data and one or more attributes of the historical data in the data repository. The sensor diagnostic system may provide, in replacement of the sensor data from the sensor, the supplemental sensor data to the BMS controller.

The fault notification system is configured to collect the data from the building equipment, detect a fault in the operation of the building equipment based on the data, identify a fault location of the fault from the plurality of locations, identify a user location of the user from the plurality of locations, determine whether the user location matches the fault location, and in response to a determination that the user location matches the fault location, provide a graphical user interface to a user. The graphical user interface identifies the fault.

Abstract: A building management system includes a meter configured to collect meter data. The building management system also includes a data analytics center, an interface generator, and a dynamic linking system. The data analytics center is configured to receive the meter data from the meter, associate the meter data with a space; and apply the meter data as an input to an algorithm to generate a metric related to the space. The interface generator is configured to generate a user interface that allows a user to add or delete a link between the meter and the space. The dynamic linking system is configured to dynamically alter the algorithm to include or exclude the meter data when generating the metric related to the space in response to the user adding or deleting the link between the meter and the space via the user interface.

Abstract: A building management system includes building equipment, a metrics engine, and a visualization module. The building equipment is configured to provide raw data samples of one or more data points. The metrics engine is configured to collect the raw data samples, and calculate a first metric, a second metric, and a third metric as a function of the raw data samples. The visualization module is configured to correlate the first metric to a first dimension value, the second metric to a second dimension value, and the third metric to a third dimension value. The visualization module is also configured to generate a graphical visualization in which the first dimension value is displayed as a first dimension of the graphical visualization, the second dimension value is displayed as a second dimension of the graphical visualization, and the third dimension value is displayed as a third dimension of the graphical visualization.

Abstract: A building management system includes at least one of a meter or equipment configured to provide data samples for a point and a point mapping system configured to store a point object corresponding to the point and including a unit attribute, store a template object corresponding to a building equipment metric and including an allowed units attribute, access the point object to read the unit attribute, access the template object to read the allowed units attribute, in response to a request to map the point object to the template object, determine whether the unit attribute matches the allowed units attribute, and, in response to a determination that the unit attribute matches the allowed units attribute, automatically map the point object to the template object. The building management system also includes a system manager configured to calculate the building equipment metric using the samples for the point and operate building equipment using the building equipment metric.

The constants are equation based relationships between a value and a threshold. The processing circuit is further configured to generate one or more sub-rules based on the one or more constants and one or more equipment points. The sub-rules are equation based relationships between the one or more constants and the one or more equipment points. The processing circuit is further configured to generate a rule based on the one or more sub-rules and the one or more equipment points. The rule is an equation based relationship between the one or more sub-rules and the one or more equipment points and indicates whether the piece of building equipment is experiencing a fault.

Abstract: A processor is configured to receive an electronic item comprising an object signature and corresponding to a building infrastructure item, such as space, equipment, monitoring point, etc. The processor is configured to validate the object signature, including determining, based on the object signature, a data source associated with the building infrastructure item. For each of the plurality of data objects from the data source, where each data object corresponds to a particular installation of the building infrastructure item, the processor is configured to determine a signature suffix associated with a current version and/or current configuration of the particular installation. The processor is configured to generate a validated object signature, including appending the signature suffix to the object signature. The processor is configured to identify a target computing system and transmit the validated object signature to the target computing system (e.g., in the form of a representational state transfer (REST) message.).

Abstract: A building management system includes a plurality of meters configured to provide data samples of a plurality of points relating to a building and a space hierarchy database configured to store a sibling relationship for each of the points. Each sibling relationship identifies two or more of the points as sibling points. The building management system includes a batch metrics engine configured to receive a first data sample of a first point, access the sibling relationship for the first point to identify one or more sibling points of the first point, aggregate the first data sample with data samples of the sibling points to generate a batch, and calculate an aggregate metric using the first data sample and the other data samples in the batch. The building management system also includes a controller configured to adjust an operation of building equipment based on the aggregate metric.
