摘要: An organic light emitting diode (OLED) display includes: a substrate; a semiconductor layer on the substrate; a gate insulating layer covering the semiconductor layer; a gate electrode formed in the gate insulating layer and overlapping the semiconductor layer; a pixel electrode formed in a pixel area over the gate insulating layer; an interlayer insulating layer covering the gate electrode and the gate insulating layer, and exposing the pixel electrode through a pixel opening; a source electrode and a drain electrode formed in the interlayer insulating layer and connected to the semiconductor layer; and a barrier rib covering the interlayer insulating layer, the source electrode, and the drain electrode, and the drain electrode contacts a side wall of the pixel opening and is connected to the pixel electrode. Such an OLED display may have an improved aperture ratio.

摘要: An organic light emitting display device is disclosed. In certain embodiments, the display has improved quality and lower cost because the subpixels of the display are oriented to have their longer sides parallel to the longer sides of the display. With the orientation, during crystallization of the subpixels, laser radiation is projected across the display device in a direction parallel to the short sides of the display device. Accordingly, less expensive laser equipment producing a shorter beam width may be used.

摘要: An organic light emitting display is capable of preventing brightness from being non-uniform due to IR drop so as to improve reliability of the organic light emitting display. The organic light emitting display comprises: a display panel having a display region and a non-display region; a plurality of sub pixels defined by perpendicularly intersecting a plurality of gate lines and a plurality of data lines formed in the display region of the display panel; and a power source supply pad unit provided in the non-display region of the display panel for supplying a power source voltage to the plurality of sub pixels. A resistance value of sub pixels arranged in a first region adjacent to the power source supply pad unit is higher than a resistance value of sub pixels of a second region which is separated from the power source supply pad unit, with the first region interposed therebetween.
