The circuit arrangement has an input-end storage capacitor which forms a low-ohmic voltage source for a connected power supply arrangement. A power supply device of this type is to be provided with a circuit which both limits the switch-on current and also provides a protection against over voltages across the storage capacitor. This is achieved with the assistance of a field-effect transistor which is arranged between the supply voltage source and the storage capacitor and which is controlled both by an amplifier in terms of current limitation and by a delay element in terms of delayed switch-on. The power supply device is particularly suitable for plug-in assemblies having voltage inverters for the supply of electrical communications transmission technology equipment.

A tightening mechanism equipped with a tightening bolt movable in a crossbore of the fitting point assures a sufficient planar surface to planar surface tightening between the two tool parts. Aside from the tightening in direction of the tightening bolt, a clamping of the fitting pin into the mating bore of the connecting sleeve is achieved through suitable measures, the clamping extending transversely with respect to the tightening-bolt direction and resulting in an automatic centering of the tool parts with respect to their common axis and in a reinforcement of the connection transversely with respect to the tightening-bolt axis.

A clamping device, during clamping, enables the adapting journal to be inserted into the receiving sleeve and to be pressed thereto between the flat surface and a front surface. In order to guarantee an exact centering of the parts with the aid of simple means, the inventive receiving sleeve is provided with a lower conical part diverging from the internal cylindrical surface towards the front surface and the adapting journal is provided with an elastically deformable centering ring which is arranged at the level of the base and is provided with an external conical part complementary to the lower conical part.
