    摘要: The invention relates to a fuel injector for a fuel injection system, in particular a common rail injection system, comprising a jet needle (2) which is guided in a stroke-movable manner in a high-pressure bore (1) of the fuel injector, wherein an injection opening (3) can be opened and closed via the stroke movement of said jet needle, and a fuel or pressure sensor (4) having at least one sensor element (5) made of a piezo electrical material for detecting characteristic pressure changes during opening and closing of the jet needle (2). According to the invention, the fuel or pressure sensor (4) is arranged in a low pressure region (6) of the fuel injector and can be loaded directly or indirectly by an axial force (F A) upon opening and closing of the jet needle (2), which is proportional to the control chamber pressure in a control chamber (7). The sensor element (5) of the force or pressure sensor (4) is furthermore directly or indirectly electrically connected to a housing part (12) of the fuel injector via at least one contact surface (9) or an electrode (10) designed thereupon, in order to produce a ground connection (11).

    摘要: A fuel injection system for internal combustion engines, has a distributor tube and a high-pressure pump which is driven as a function of engine rpm and serves to generate the fuel pressure and fuel throughput required in the distributor tube in the applicable operating state of the engine, and also has a fuel metering unit, which is assigned to the high-pressure pump and is based on an electromagnetically actuated regulating valve. The fuel metering unit is disposed in the high-pressure pump, and the outlet of the regulating value discharges into the low-pressure region of the high-pressure pump. The inlet of the regulating valve communicates with the compression side of a prefeed pump. The regulating valve has a valve piston, which is actuated—into the opening position—by a compression spring and which is actuatable counter to the spring force—into the closing position—by an armature bolt of the electromagnet. Valve piston has at least one and preferably more radial control openings, which are in operative communication with the intake side of the high-pressure pump.

Sealing of the space (5) is effected by a membrane (7) made of a fuel-resistant, electrically conductive material, allowing the membrane (7) to also be utilized for implementing a ground connection.

    摘要: A fuel injection system has a low-pressure pump for withdrawing fuel from a tank and a high-pressure pump, which is supplied by the low-pressure pump and has camshaft-actuated pump elements. An on-off valve is connected on the inlet side to the pressure side of the low-pressure pump and on the outlet side, is connected on the one hand to a camshaft chamber of the high-pressure pump and on the other hand, is connected to the suction side of the low-pressure pump. At a first pressure threshold, a spring-loaded valve piston of the on-off valve opens a connection between the low-pressure pump and the camshaft chamber and at a relatively higher second pressure threshold, opens a connection between the pressure side and the suction side of the low-pressure pump. A throttle bore in the bottom of the valve piston serves to ventilate the low-pressure system.
