Abstract:
An image output apparatus includes a determination unit configured to determine whether a density of a document image exceeds a threshold, and a control unit configured to inhibit an output of a composite image including a two-dimensional bar code and the document image if the determination unit determines that the density exceeds the threshold and configured to output the composite image including the two-dimensional bar code and the document image if the determination unit determines that the density does not exceed the threshold.
Abstract:
When a program consisting of a plurality of processes is installed in a device, its processing route in the case where the processes normally advance is built as a database, based on the knowledge of a program designer or the like. When the program is executed, routing information indicating the actual process flow along each process flow is generated. Before a new process is activated, the route till then is compared with the correct route stored in the database. If the route till then is abnormal, it is determined that the device is infected with a worm, and the communication port of a device in which the program is installed is cut off and the maintenance terminal is notified of the abnormality.

Abstract:
An ATM switch including a switch unit routing an ATM through an ATM connection; a controller controlling the quality of the ATM connection; and a memory for storing a quality control identifier for linking declared information concerning ATM connection quality, which is included in a call signal requesting the setup of the ATM connection, with a capability identifier for identifying the capability of the controller. The controller controls the ATM connection quality based on the capability corresponding to the capability identifier designated based on the quality control identifier obtained from the declared information. If the quality requested in the declared information is changed due to a change in an advisory promulgated by an advisory organization, a different capability identifier can be assigned by changing or adding to the setup of the quality control identifier in accordance with the updated quality.
Abstract:
The quality and performance of the connectionless communications system are improved. When a BOM is received, the destination address DA of the L3-PDU stored in the payload of the BOM is retrieved, and the tag information is obtained from the DA (S11). The output message identifier MID is reserved (S12), and the tag information and output MID are assigned to the BOM (S13). Then, the tag information and output MID are written to the table. When a COM is received, the tag information and output MID are retrieved using the MID of the COM as a key, and the information is provided for the COM (S31 and S32). When an EOM is received, the tag information and output MID are retrieved using the MID of the EOM as a key, and the information is provided for the EOM (S41 and S42). Then, the output MID is released (S43).
Abstract:
An outboard motor is equipped with an engine, an engine holder, an oil pan disposed below the engine in a state of the outboard motor being mounted to a hull, a water pump disposed below the oil pan, and a cooling water passage structure. The cooling water passage structure includes a vertical cooling water passage vertically passing through inside the oil pan and communicated with the side of the engine, a lateral cooling water passage extending in a lateral direction along a bottom surface of the oil pan, a cooling water supply pipe extending upward from the water pump and connected to a side of the engine, and a water pressure relief valve provided for the lateral cooling water passage for controlling a pressure increasing of the cooling water. The lateral cooling water passage has one end communicated with a lower end of the vertical cooling water passage and has another one end to which an upper end of the cooling water supply pipe is connected.
Abstract:
There is provided a signal processing device. Data indicative of a past sensing point, and a counter value indicative of existence possibility of the past sensing point are stored in a storage. Whether the past sensing point has continuity to a recent sensing point is determined. The counter value associated with the past sensing point determined as having no continuity to the recent sensing point is decreased. The data is deleted from the storage means when the counter value becomes less than a first threshold value. The sensing point possibly detected by pairing peak signals obtained in first and second periods in a wrong manner is identified as a specific sensing point. A first value is decreased from the counter value associated with the past sensing point, and a second value different from the first value is decreased from the counter value associated with the specific sensing point.
Abstract:
Since, for detecting a two-dimension code added to a document, the detection processing is performed by checking the four corners of the read image, if the user specifies an A3 size as a reading size of an image in the copy of an A4-size document, the two-dimensional code is not detected. When the document size detected by the copying machine differs from the reading size of the image specified by the user, the processing for the two-dimensional code detection is performed checking the four corners of the region of the document size detected by the copying machine.
Abstract:
A printing apparatus includes: an input unit configured to input images of a plurality of pages; and a printing unit configured to execute, if the images of the plurality of pages include a color page image, printing on a plurality of sheets based on the images of the plurality of pages by solely sheets for color printing even in a case where the images of the plurality of pages include a monochrome page image.
