    摘要: Disclosed are an apparatus and method for determining a frame structure for reducing interference between users using the same frequency band in a communication system using a cognitive radio, the method including, collecting channel status information related to a primary user with a priority to occupancy of a predetermined frequency band, executing spectrum sensing for the frequency band to check whether the primary user's traffic exists, deciding a length of a data frame to be transmitted in consideration of interference to the primary user based upon the collected channel status information if a channel in which the primary user's traffic is not present is sensed through the spectrum sensing, constructing a data frame based upon the decided frame length to transmit via the sensed channel, and re-executing the spectrum sensing for the channel, if data to be additionally transmitted exists, and rechecking whether the primary user's traffic is present.

    摘要: Techniques for transmitting synchronization signals to assist user equipments (UEs) perform cell searches are described. In one design, a base station for a cell may generate and transmit a primary synchronization signal and a secondary synchronization signal, which may be used by the UEs for initial cell search at power up. The base station may also generate and transmit one or more beacon signals, which may be used by the UEs for neighbor cell search to detect for neighbor cells. The number of beacon signals to transmit and the set of subcarriers usable for each beacon signal may be determined based on the system bandwidth. Each beacon signal may be mapped to one subcarrier in the set of subcarriers in each beacon symbol period. This one subcarrier may be determined based on a beacon hopping pattern or a beacon code and may be dependent on a cell identifier (ID).

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method and to an apparatus for transmitting/receiving data in a relay communication system. The method comprises the steps of: setting, as a guard band, the first predetermined number of symbol transmission slots of a data transmission period in a subframe resource element of a downlink channel constituted by a control signal transmission period to which a control signal is allocated and the data transmission period to which downlink data is allocated; allocating reference signals to symbols of the data transmission period; puncturing the symbols corresponding to the guard band from among the symbols to which said reference signals are allocated; and transmitting signals to which said reference signals are allocated.
