摘要： In transmitting a plurality of data arranged in a time series of a first period (T), there is formed, every predetermined second period (SF) longer than the first period (T), a packet containing a plural number (x) of data supplied within a given cycle of the second period (SF). At that time, one data is specified from among every group consisting of a fixed number (M), not smaller than two, of the data, and time information indicative of a time position of the specified data is attached to the packet which the data belong to. A receiving-end unit reproduces the data, by reproducing the respective time positions, i.e., the first period (T), of the individual data on the basis of the time information contained in the received packet.

摘要： A communication control apparatus is provided for setting a plurality of node apparatuses to either of a transmitter and a receiver of synchronization information to synchronize the node apparatuses with each other. A storage device memorizes capability information representing either of an active capability to transmit the synchronization information and a passive capability to receive the synchronization information, owned by each of the node apparatuses. An indicating device indicates the active capabilities and the passive capabilities owned by the node apparatuses. A specifying device is operated in association with the indicated active capabilities and the passive capabilities for outputting status information effective to specify each node apparatus to a transmitter or a receiver. A plurality of memory blocks are provided in correspondence to the plurality of the node apparatuses to memorize status information. A registering device registers each of the outputted status information into each memory block to set the corresponding node apparatus to a transmitter of the synchronization information when the status information specifies the transmitter, and to set the corresponding node apparatus to a receiver of the synchronization information when the status information specifies the receiver.

摘要： In a network system, a plurality of nodes are communicable with one another to exchange information and to transfer data, and a bus is provided for connection to the nodes and for configuration of logical paths to logically link one node to another node so as to secure transfer of the data. Each node has at least one port which is allocated for accessing the bus and which is classified into four types of an isochronous talker, an isochronous listener, a multicast talker and a multicast listener. The nodes are allocated to bind isochronous channel numbers or multicast channel numbers to respective isochronous or multicast talkers and listeners in a manner so as to maximize efficiency of the network.

摘要： A network system is logically established according to path information to circulate a data throughout a complex of electronic equipments which are communicably connected to one another. Each electronic equipment has at least either of a receiver port which receives a data and a transmitter port which transmits a data. The path information is effective to enable a primary electronic equipment having a receiver port to identify a secondary electronic equipment having a corresponding transmitter port. The primary electronic equipment opens a logical path of the data connecting between its own receiver port and the corresponding transmitter port of the secondary electronic equipment according to the provided path information to thereby enable circulation of the data throughout the complex of the electronic equipments.

摘要： A musical network system has a plurality of musical equipments interconnected to each other through a communication network which circulates a control message for producing a musical sound. One musical equipment has a transmitter for transmitting a control message to the communication network. Another musical equipment has a receiver for receiving the control message from the communication network. An internal tone generator operates according to the received control message for producing a musical sound. A detector detects whether the received control message is a right one which may not disturb operation of the generator means or a wrong one which may disturb operation of the generator means. A transmitter returns an error message to the one musical equipment through the communication network when the detector detects that the received control message is the wrong one. Further, a receiver of the one musical equipment receives from the communication network status information which is returned by another musical equipment, and checks the returned status information to detect if mis-operation has occurred in another musical equipment for initiating recovery of the mis-operation.
