    摘要： To protect the quartz of a quartz glass bulb (2) from attack by alkaline earth oxides emitted from electrodes (6) of the lamp, and prevent deterioration of the quartz in use of the lamp with respect to transmission of ultraviolet (UV) radiation, particularly in the short wave length range of 200 nm to 250 nm, boron silicate glass or glass-like aluminum oxide, or a mixture of boron silicate glass and glass-like aluminum oxide is interposed between the quartz bulb (2) and the electrodes. Boron oxide can be applied to the interior of the quartz bulb, and fired thereon to form, for example, a boron silicate glass layer (4) or diffuse into the quartz glass to form a diffusion layer (4') by suitable selection of firing temperatures. Alternatively, an aperture support element (35, 45) can retain a disk of boron silicate glass or glass-like aluminum oxide positioned between the electrodes and the quartz glass bulb. Such disk elements may be planar or of lensetic shape, positioned transverse to the radiation beam axis (10, 310) or at an angle thereto, to provide for partial transmission and reflection, for example in a dual-beam control or measuring system.

    摘要： A deuterium lamp with a quartz glass bulb for spectral analyzers is disclosed. At least the portion of the quartz glass bulb through which the radiation produced passes is provided on its outer surface with a multiple interference filter layer; the physical layer thickness of each layer is in the range from 10 to 70 nm. The multiple layer comprises atlternating aluminum oxide and silicon dioxide, or magnesium fluoride. The interference filter layers are preferably vapor-deposited in a vacuum.

    摘要： A container closure system comprises a container having an opening zone (21) with a threaded neck (22). A closure cap (23) can be screwed on the threaded neck (22). A warranty element comprises an annular base body (25) with engagement means which can engage matching engagement means (38) in the opening zone (21) of the container. The warranty element also comprises one or more indicator elements (27) shaped as circle segments and linked each by a predetermined breaking strip to the base body (25). The closure cap (23) has at least one axial projection (34) which can be inserted between the ends of the indicator elements (27) shaped as circle segments or between the ends of two adjacent indicator elements (27) in order to secure the indicator elements (27) against rotation to the closure cap (23). When the closure cap (23) is unscrewed, these axial projections (34) break the predetermined breaking strips, separating the indicator elements (27) shaped as circle segments from the base body (25). This indicates that the container has been opened for the first time.

    摘要： An improvement of a device for protecting manipulators against collision with other objects. Two discs are held in spaced relationship by spacer balls applied thereagainst on the periphery. The discs are urged toward each other and the gap is adjustable. If due to a collision, the position of the spacer balls is changed, the discs move toward each other, thereby causing actuation of a switch and a disconnection of the drive.

    摘要： The invention relates to a surgical device for guiding at least two sewing threads through the marginal area of a tissue opening which is present especially in an artery of an individual, the opening optionally having been produced by cutting. The device comprises a bar-shaped needle and thread guiding device having a needle transfer area at the proximal end of the device, a needle receiving area at the distal end of the device, and arranged thereinbetween an intermediate area for receiving the marginal area of the tissue opening. The needle transfer area, the intermediate area and the needle receiving area are rigidly interlinked. The bar-shaped needle and thread guiding device can be closed by an elongate outer member which positively surrounds the intermediate area. The outer member can be displaced in relation to the bar-shaped needle and thread guiding device in the longitudinal direction thereof, thereby releasing the intermediate area. The needle transfer area, towards the distal end of the device, and the elongate member, in the area towards the proximal end of the device, have end faces facing each other.
