The UE checks a characteristic of data that is to be wirelessly exchanged, and selects between those cells for establishing a wireless connection, based on which of those types of priority information correspond to that characteristic of the data. The characteristic the UE checks for the data may be: CS voice call or PS data; volume; latency tolerance; active or background mode; and minimum QoS; to name a few.
