Abstract: A motor includes a stator having a core and a plurality of radially inwardly extending teeth defining slots therebetween. Each tooth has a tip having a pair of circumferentially protruding tooth projections. A first insulation sheet is inserted between each pair of the teeth and has a body part and a pair of first end parts formed by folding both ends of the body part toward each other. A second insulation sheets is arranged between the winding parts of adjacent teeth and has a body part and a pair of second end parts formed by folding both ends of the body part away from each other. The tooth projections, the second end parts and the first end parts are arranged in this order from radially inside to outside and overlap radially.

Abstract: A motor-driven compressor in which an electric driving mechanism is capable of keeping high efficiency. The compressor includes an electric driving mechanism, a compression mechanism and a motor drive circuit. The electric driving mechanism is accommodated in a housing. The housing has a main body portion in a cylindrical shape, a bulging portion that bulges in a radially outward direction from the main body portion, and a partition wall. In the main body portion, a stator accommodation chamber is formed. In the stator accommodation chamber, a stator of the electric driving mechanism is accommodated. In the bulging portion, a cluster block accommodation chamber is formed. In the cluster block accommodation chamber, a cluster block is accommodated. A partition wall separates the stator accommodation chamber and the cluster block accommodation chamber in a radial direction. The main body portion and the partition wall support a stator core.

Abstract: A stator of a rotating electric machine includes: a stator core including a yoke; an insulator having a plurality of insulator inner walls; a cover; a first insulating member; and a second insulating member. The cover has an insertion plate extending in an axial direction of the yoke. The insertion plate has a support surface that is located in a space between the insulator inner walls adjacent to each other in a circumferential direction of the yoke and located inward of the second insulating member to support the second insulating member in a radial direction of the yoke. The support surface is located outward of a slot opening in the radial direction of the yoke when viewed in the axial direction of the yoke.

Abstract: The cluster block accommodates connection terminals and has conductive member insertion holes, into which the conductive members are inserted. The cluster block includes a second wall portion in the vicinity of the electric motor and a first wall in the vicinity of the bottom wall of the housing. The second wall portion has a pressed surface on the radially inner side of the inner circumferential surface of the stator core. The outer surface of the first wall portion has a contact surface that is lined up with the pressed surface in the axial direction of the stator core. Abstract: A permanent magnet embedded type rotating electrical machine includes a rotor and a stator. The rotor includes a rotor core formed by a plurality of stacked and laminated magnetic steel plates and permanent magnets. Each magnetic steel plate has a plurality of magnet holes, connecting portions and sectional areas. The sectional area is surrounded by lines extending between the opposite ends of the magnet hole and between a rotation center of the rotor and the respective ends of the magnet hole. The connecting portion is provided only inside of the sectional area and is a joining portion at which any two adjacent magnetic steel plates are joined or a fastening hole in which a fastening member is inserted. Abstract: Projections are provided on bottom surfaces of U-phase through-grooves. This configuration ensures a sufficient engagement amount of each projection with a corresponding insertion portion as compared to a case in which the projections are provided on the end of an insulator on the side opposite to a stator core. As a result, each projection is stably engaged with the corresponding insertion portion. This allows the cover to be stably attached to the insulator.

Abstract: A motor includes a rotor and a stator, the stator having a stator core and an electrical insulator assembly at each end of the stator core. The cluster block includes a second wall, which faces some of the insulator flanges. The second wall includes engagement pieces, which project in the radial direction of the rotary shaft. The engagement pieces are each fitted to an opening portion, which is a gap between the insulator flanges that are adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction of the rotary shaft.
