Abstract: The present invention relates to a liquid detergent composition for textile products containing the following component (A) in an amount of 10% by mass or more and 60% by mass or less), the following component (B), and water: component (A): an internal olefin sulfonate having 17 or more and 24 or less carbon atoms, wherein the mass ratio of an internal olefin sulfonate having 17 or more and 24 or less carbon atoms with the sulfonate group at position 2 or higher and position 4 or lower (IO-1S) to an internal olefin sulfonate having 17 or more and 24 or less carbon atoms with the sulfonate group at position 5 or higher (IO-2S), (IO-1S)/(IO-2S), is 0.75 or more and 5.5 or less; and component (B): an organic solvent having a hydroxy group.

Abstract: The present invention provides a surfactant composition which includes a surfactant at a high concentration, while having fluidity over a wide concentration range. A surfactant composition according to the present invention contains the components A, B, C and D described below, and is configured such that: the total content of the components A, B and C is from 30% by mass to 80% by mass (inclusive); the mass ratio of the total content of the components A and B to the content of the component C, namely (A+B)/C is from 20/80 to 80/20; and the mass ratio of the content of the component A to the content of the component B, namely A/B is from 98/2 to 45/55. A: an internal olefin sulfonic acid and/or a salt thereof; B: an anionic surfactant other than the component A; C: a nonionic surfactant; D: water.

Abstract: Provided is a surfactant composition which includes high concentrations of a surfactant, has fluidity in a wide concentration range, and does not become clouded when diluted with hard water. This surfactant composition includes component A, component B, and component C described below, wherein a total content of the component A and the component B is 35 to 80% by mass and wherein the component A is at least one sulfonate compound selected from the group consisting of a hydroxyalkane sulfonate and an olefin sulfonate, the component B is a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether, and the component C is water.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a gene encoding a protein having β-ketoacyl-ACP synthase activity having at least 60% or more identity with the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:1, the protein encoded by the gene, a method of producing a transformant by transforming a host with the gene, a transformant that is transformed with the gene, and a method of producing a lipid, especially, a lipid containing a medium chain fatty acid or ester thereof, by culturing the transformed host that expresses the gene. In some embodiments, the transformant also has a gene encoding an acyl-ACP thioesterase.
