    摘要: A lubricating system for an internal combustion engine includes lubricating oil recovery oil passages through which lubricating oil dropping to and dwelling in a bottom portion of a crankcase after lubricating individual portions of an internal combustion engine is fed to a lubricating oil tank through an oil cooler by a recovery pump. Lubricating oil supply oil passages supply the lubricating oil from the lubricating oil tank to the individual portions of the internal combustion engine needing lubrication and cooling through an oil filter by a supply pump. The lubricating system includes a branch passage branched from the lubricating oil recovery oil passage communicating from the oil cooler to the lubricating oil tank. The branch passage supplies the lubricating oil to at least one of the individual portions of the internal combustion engine.

A mounting device for a cam chain guide for an internal combustion engines constructed such that rotation of a crank shaft is transmitted to a cam shaft provided externally of a cylinder bore by a cam chain 3 to operate an intake/exhaust valve through a push rod and a rocker arm. A first protrusion provided in the vicinity of a lower end of a chain guide is fitted into a first locating groove provided in the vicinity of a crank shaft of a crank casing, and a second protrusion provided in the vicinity of an upper end of a chain guide is fitted into a second locating groove provided in a lower surface of a cylinder block and gradually enlarged from a protrusion fixed position toward an opening.

    摘要: To provide a layout structure of a clutch lever shaft capable of realizing compact layouts of a whole power unit in which a starter centrifugal clutch and a transmission manual multi-plate clutch are provided, and of a whole vehicle on which the power unit is mounted. A centrifugal clutch shaft and a manual multi-plate clutch shaft are disposed in parallel. The clutch lever shaft of the manual multi-plate clutch is disposed orthogonally and substantially vertically upward in relation to a pressing direction of a friction plate in a vicinity of an end portion of a lifter pin. The clutch lever shaft is disposed between the centrifugal clutch and the manual multi-plate clutch when viewed from a top of the power unit.

    摘要: In order to provide a rotationally balanced hydraulic swash plate plunger unit, a swash plate plunger pump casing is provided with an unbalanced flange to balance a casing which has a swash plate member therein, without requiring a separate counter weight. A hydraulic swash plate plunger pump includes a pump swash plate member, installed in the pump casing and rotatably supported in an inclined manner therein, and a pump cylinder having a plurality of pump plungers slidably disposed therein. An unbalanced five-sided flange portion is formed integrally with the outer wall of the pump casing, to rotationally balance the entire unit.

A land 40 of the front crankshaft 35 is held in abutment against the inner side surface 26a to limit crankshafts 30, 35 against axial elongation and deformation. The radial roller bearing 25 has an outside diameter D1 that is the same as an outside diameter of a radial ball bearing 20. The forgoing arrangement includes simplified bushings cast in a crankcase and having bearing press-fitted therein, that allows the bushings to be used as common parts.

    摘要: A crankcase with a ceiling portion for shutting off the upper side of an oil pool chamber. An oil flowing window is opened in the ceiling portion of a right case. An oil strainer is formed in a flat plate like shape. The oil strainer is fitted to the oil flowing window. The right case is provided with an oil passage through which the oil having passed through the oil strainer flows roughly horizontally to an oil pump suction port. The ceiling portion of the right case is provided with a cutout portion by not casting a portion of the case at a position where the ceiling portion of the right case and an oil pump are adjacent to each other, and a plug is fitted in the cutout portion. The vertical size from the oil pool to the oil pump suction port can be reduced as much as possible, and the overall height of the internal combustion engine can be restricted.

    摘要: A generator is provided inside the casings of a power unit which is fitted to the rear end of a crank shaft. The generator has a stator provided to a generator cover detachably fitted to cover a rear opening of the casing. A harness extends from the stator and is led outside through a grommet provided between the joining faces of the casing and the generator cover. A space is formed behind the generator cover to insert a tool such as an impact wrench with the power unit left mounted on the vehicle body. It is possible to detach and maintain the generator only by detaching the generator cover while leaving the power unit mounted on the vehicle body.

After the casing has reached the predetermined depth and the charging of crushed stones has been confirmed an, amplitude of reaction is detected by a reaction detection device provided on the compaction rod or a load current measuring device of the compaction rod. The reaction value is compared with a set reaction value, and one or more factors (a raising speed of the casing, a period, an amplitude and an extreme end surface-height of the compaction rod for determining a compacting degree of a peripheral ground) are controlled in response to the compared value.
