    摘要: An oil passage extending from an oil pump to a discharge port in an internal combustion engine is, at its halfway point, branched into at least two oil passages, for example, a first oil passage and a second oil passage. One of the at least two branched oil passages, for example, the second oil passage is provided with a restricting portion configured as a first orifice for restricting a flow amount of oil by reducing a diameter of the first orifice. A bypass valve is provided which acts, when a hydraulic pressure in the second oil passage exceeds a specific value, to bypass the first orifice so as to increase the flow rate of oil. It is possible to increase the hydraulic pressure at the time of low speed rotation up to a necessary pressure only by providing the restricting portion, without enhancing the performance of the oil pump. Accordingly, it is possible to suppress the increase in weight and cost of the lubricating system as compared with the prior art lubricating system in which the performance of the oil pump is enhanced, and since it is not required to increase the rotational speed of the oil pump, it is possible to prevent the loss in output of the internal combustion engine due to the increased friction of the oil pump. Further, it is possible to prevent an excessive increase in pressure of the oil passage by the effect of the bypass valve.

    摘要: In an engine having a dry sump type lubrication structure, a feed pump, a sub-scavenging pump, and a main scavenging pump of an oil pump are all integrally provided by disposing a feed pump rotor, a sub-scavenging pump rotor, and a main scavenging pump rotor in parallel on the same common drive shaft. This arrangement reduces the necessary size and weight of a feed pump and a scavenging pump while increasing the pumping capacity thereof The oil sump is divided into a plurality of oil sumps which are different from each other in their longitudinal and lateral positions. Oil in a first oil sump and a second oil sump is pumped by the main scavenging pump and sub-scavenging pump, respectively. A housing of the oil pump is composed of a first block, a second block, a third block, and a fourth block, wherein oil passages are provided in these blocks. The oil pumped by the main scavenging pump and the oil pumped by the sub-scavenging pump are collectively discharged in a collection discharge passage via the main scavenging pump discharge port and the sub-scavenging pump discharge port, respectively, and the oil thus collected is fed to the oil tank.

    摘要: A oil supply system supplies the same oil for lubricating an engine and for driving a hydrostatic infinitely variable transmission. The hydrostatic infinitely variable transmission is built into a crankcase of the engine, resulting in an overall compact configuration. A drive shaft of the hydrostatic infinitely variable transmission is provided parallel with a crankshaft of the engine. Axial centers of the drive shaft and crankshaft can be made hollow and serve as oilways. Further, an axial center of a counter shaft of the hydrostatic infinitely variable transmission can be made hollow and serve as an oilway. By the present oil supply system, engine oil is used in common as drive oil for the hydro-static infinitely variable transmission, and as oil supplied to parts of a cylinder head, a stepped transmission, and other various parts of the engine and transmission, thereby elimating the duplication of oil pumps and filters and reducing the maintanance associated with servicing independent oil systems.

The radial roller bearing 25 has an outside diameter D1 that is the same as an outside diameter of a radial ball bearing 20. The forgoing arrangement includes simplified bushings cast in a crankcase and having bearing press-fitted therein, that allows the bushings to be used as common parts.

    摘要: To reduce the projection of a swash plate servo mechanism in the radial direction, and to make a hydraulic continuously variable transmission compact, a swash plate plunger pump includes a pump casing provided with an input driven gear. A pump cylinder and a motor cylinder are connected to a transmission output shaft, and a motor pivot member provided with a motor swash plate member is supported to be pivotally movable. A motor servo mechanism includes a ball screw shaft, a ball nut to which an end portion of the motor pivot member is connected, and a swash plate control motor to rotate the screw shaft. A swash plate control motor, located on the side of a hydraulic pump relative to the input driven gear, is mounted to the outside surface of a transmission housing close to the center axis side of a transmission output shaft.

    摘要: To provide a layout structure of a clutch lever shaft capable of realizing compact layouts of a whole power unit in which a starter centrifugal clutch and a transmission manual multi-plate clutch are provided, and of a whole vehicle on which the power unit is mounted. A centrifugal clutch shaft and a manual multi-plate clutch shaft are disposed in parallel. The clutch lever shaft of the manual multi-plate clutch is disposed orthogonally and substantially vertically upward in relation to a pressing direction of a friction plate in a vicinity of an end portion of a lifter pin. The clutch lever shaft is disposed between the centrifugal clutch and the manual multi-plate clutch when viewed from a top of the power unit.

    摘要: In order to provide a rotationally balanced hydraulic swash plate plunger unit, a swash plate plunger pump casing is provided with an unbalanced flange to balance a casing which has a swash plate member therein, without requiring a separate counter weight. A hydraulic swash plate plunger pump includes a pump swash plate member, installed in the pump casing and rotatably supported in an inclined manner therein, and a pump cylinder having a plurality of pump plungers slidably disposed therein. An unbalanced five-sided flange portion is formed integrally with the outer wall of the pump casing, to rotationally balance the entire unit.
