摘要: A management table is provided in each processor so as to manage the quality of data which is transferred via a common transmission medium which is connected to the processors, and when each processor sends data, it refers to the management table and sends the data to the common transmission medium by adding the attribute information indicating the quality of the data to it, and when each processor receives data, it refers to the management table and decides whether or not to let the program module receive the data on the basis of the attribute information added to the data, so that the flow of information in a distributed system can be managed autonomously for each attribute thereof, and information of an attribute is prevented from flowing into a specific group, and a plurality of attribute informations are integrated to one, and the protection of attributes among different kinds of applications and the connection processing are available.

摘要: Electronic information input via an input means is divided into first and second groups e.g. representing information which may not be modified except by a skilled operator, and information which may be modified freely. The information is stored in an information file and display elements are stored in e.g. a related information file. If a request for modification of one of the information elements is input via the input means, a judging means determines, on the basis of controlling information in a controlling information area, whether the information element belongs to the first or second group. If it belongs to the first, a display means displays one of the display elements as e.g. a warning to the operator that the information element may be modified only by a skilled operator. A password system may be provided to identify such a skilled operator.

摘要: In a graph displaying method and apparatus and a processing operation monitoring apparatus, a succession of graph points representing the progress of a process are sequentially displayed from one side to the other on the graph display area of a screen, one added at a time to the leading end of the graph. When the latest graph point arrives at the right end of the graph display area, the graph is shifted back leftwardly to a predetermined position at a speed that can be followed by the operator's eyes, whereupon an additional succession of graph points are sequentially displayed at the leading end of the graph. While the graph is being shifted from the right end of the graph display area to the predetermined position, a plurality of transient graphs is successively displayed from the start position of the movement to the terminating position, thus maintaining continuity of the displaying graph so that the operator can monitor the progress of the process without interruption and/or misrecognition.

摘要: A neural network system includes a qualitative evaluation section, a neural network section, a quantifying section and a display section. The qualitative evaluation section qualitatively analyzes an unknown data supplied thereto, and normalizes the result of analysis within a predetermined range. The neural network section having a neural network with plural neurons computes the network output data from the normalized unknown data produced by the qualitative evaluation section. Each neuron is connected to plural other neurons through synapses, each of which is assigned an individual weight coefficient. Each neuron is adapted to output an output function value assigned thereto associated with the total sum of the products of the output from the neurons connected thereto and the synapse weight coefficient. The quantifying section quantifies the network output data to produce desired data. The desired data thus produced is displayed on the display section.

摘要: Data communication method and system for transmitting a large amount of data via a network such as LAN to which a plurality of stations or terminals are connected, through a simplified processing procedure with high reliability and high efficiency while suppressing influence to other communications. The large amount of data is transmitted from a sender station to a plurality of receiver stations by utilizing a connectionless communication service, while inter-station reception acknowledging/retransmitting processings are performed by using a connection-oriented communication service. The large amount of data to be transmitted is divided into a plurality of blocks, and inter-block delay time is set on the basis of station status factors such as a permissible load increase rate of the CPU of the individual stations.

摘要: Conflicting requests for cursor control of displaying are resolved by priority. The cursors can reflect attributes of their control or those of their control units, with visual attributes being color, shape or the like. Priority may be established between each cursor and a range of areas acceptable for cursor movement subdivided from the screen, or according to a priority of allowable functions, or according to a priority of conflicting operating times, or a combination of the same. Simultaneous control of a plurality of cursors can be permitted when there is no conflict.
