摘要: A mechanism for detachably mounting any selected one of several attachments to a hollow spindlehead ram within which a spindle is rotatably supported by a hollow shaft, the latter being capable of both rotary and axial displacement relative to the ram. Both the hollow shaft and the selected attachment are coupled with the ram via Curvic coupling teeth. Further, in order to retain the attachment in positive engagement with the ram via the Curvic coupling teeth, a series of external locking teeth are formed on the hollow shaft at constant circumferential spacings for engagement with a series of internal locking teeth formed on the attachment. The hollow shaft forces the attachment against the ram via the interengaged locking teeth under hydraulic pressure.

摘要: An automatic tool exchanging apparatus of a machine tool comprises a machine body, a tool storage magazine, a spindle attached to the machine body, a tool conveying mechanism and a tool exchanging mechanism which are located between the tool storage magazine and the spindle for exchanging a tool in the magazine with a tool in the spindle, and a drive unit for driving the tool exchanging and tool conveying mechanisms. The tool conveying mechanism comprises a guide bar horizontally arranged between a predetermined position of the tool storage magazine and an intermediate tool pot of the tool exchanging mechanism, a tool carriage movably supported by the guide bar, a tool carriage reciprocating mechanism, a tool conveying arm member rotatably supported by the tool carriage and provided with clamp arms to clamp a tool, a tool conveying arm member rotating mechanism, and a tool conveying arm member reciprocating mechanism.

摘要: A thermal displacement correcting apparatus suitable for a machine tool (1) provided with a mechanism for feeding a main spindle (2) is disclosed. Three magnetic flux generating bodies 61 to 63 are fixed to the main spindle; a magnetic sensor (7) is fixed to the machine tool to detect the magnetic flux generated by the magnetic flux generating body at each predetermined spindle feed position; a thermal displacement value detecting section (14A) detects the thermal displacement values of the main spindle on the basis of outputs of the magnetic sensor at the respective spindle feed positions; a thermal displacement correction value calculating section (15) calculates a correction function on the basis of the detected thermal displacement values and previously determined reference values, and obtains the thermal displacement correction value in accordance with the calculated correction function at each spindle feed position; and a spindle feed command correcting section (16) corrects the spindle feed command applied to the spindle feed motor on the basis of the obtained thermal displacement correction value at each spindle feed position.
