摘要： A gravure coating apparatus containing a gravure roll, a manifold block for continuously coating a solution on an outer peripheral surface of the gravure roll 15 by immersing a lower part of the outer peripheral surface in the solution, and a doctor blade for scraping off excess solution, a surface of a flexible strip support conveyed to the gravure roll being made in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the gravure roll to transfer and coat a prescribed amount of the solution on the surface of the flexible strip support. The apparatus further contains a dam block which extends from the manifold block on a side where the outer peripheral surface of the gravure roll moves out from the manifold block by rotation of the gravure roll.

摘要： A method for forming multiple coating layers produces a coating construction that has flexibility corresponding to the number of layers of multiple coating layers, by which a multilayer coating film can be produced with small film thickness without adherence of dust to a film surface, a drying fault such as unevenness induced by drying-wind on the film surface, or a coating fault such as a level variation and a streak. The multilayer coating film has a coating surface state of high quality with coating thickness deviation of 3% or less. In the method, a belt-like substrate is continuously fed. A coating/drying step follows, with multiple steps performed in a single unit. A plurality of coating layers are formed by sequentially performing the coating/drying step by multiple units. Finally, the belt-like substrate with the multiple coatings is continuously wound.

摘要： The present invention provides a process for producing an antireflection film comprising applying, using a slot die, a coating solution onto a web which is backed up by a back-up roller and runs continuously to form at least one layer which has a thickness of 200 nm or less in a dried state and has a refractive index lower than that of the web. The slot die has an edge lip downstream of the running web which has a land length along the running web is 30 to 100 μm, and the space between the edge lip of the slot die upstream of the running web and the surface of the web is set to be 30 to 120 μm larger than the space between the edge lip of the slot die downstream of the running web and the surface of the web.
