摘要： The breaker apparatus is disclosed which comprises a projecting wall standing upright from the base of a breaker body; a pair of plate-shaped fixed electrodes laid on the front and back surfaces of the projecting wall; a recessed plug to be fitted on the projecting wall; a U-shaped movable electrode to be stored in the plug for bringing the both fixed electrodes into conduction by clamping the projecting wall on the front and back surfaces thereof; a fuse storage section for storing a fuse connected to one of the fixed electrodes in the surrounding wall standing upright from the base in parallel with the projecting wall; a cover for covering the opening of the fuse storage section and being fittable to the surrounding wall; an engaging surface formed on the plug and facing in the fitting direction of the plug; and a cover motion stopper provided on the cover for engaging with the engaging surface of the plug with the plug fitted to the projecting wall.

摘要： In the breaker device, a pair of stationary electrodes 20, 21 are arranged on the front and the rear side of the protruding wall 18, that is, the pair of stationary electrodes 20, 21 are collected at one place. Therefore, the pair of stationary electrodes 20, 21 have a space round both the stationary electrodes in common. Accordingly, the size of the breaker device can be reduced. Further, when the radius of curvature of the continuity section 73 connecting the pinching pieces 71, 72 is made large, concentration of stress in the movable electrode 70 can be relieved. Therefore, the pinching forces of both the pinching pieces 71, 72 can be increased. Accordingly, it is possible to ensure a sufficiently high contact pressure between the movable electrode 70 and the stationary electrodes 20, 21.

摘要： An electronic control circuit susceptible to heat damage is housed in a first compartment of a body of an electrical connection box. A relay box and a fusible link box which release heat are housed in a second compartment of the body. A cover for covering the body is similarly divided. Air is exhausted from the space through an intake pipe. Wire harnesses connected with the components are inserted through waterproof grommets. Heating of the electronic control unit by the engine and by the heat releasing components is minimized, and waterproofing is achieved.

摘要： When a car suffers a collision, a shock is applied to the body of an electrical connection box in the car. Due to the shock, an external force is applied horizontally to the peripheral wall of the body and the cover, thus crushing inverted V-shaped grooves formed on the bottom surface of the body and reducing the complementary angle .theta. between the two inclined surfaces of each inverted V-shaped groove. The external force applied horizontally to the peripheral wall of the body and the cover is also absorbed by the release of the cover from the body. The release of the cover from the body is accelerated by a force not absorbed by the deformation of the inverted V-shaped grooves but applied to the body vertically upwardly. Consequently, the effect of the external force applied to the electrical connection box is reduced. As a result of the absorption of the shock, a small degree of force is applied to a junction box or component in the box. Risk of damage to the junction box is reduced and disconnection of wiring from the junction box is unlikely.

摘要： An electrically conductive metal plate is stamped out to yield a fuse unit including an input terminal and several output terminals. The fuse unit further includes a predetermined locus where fuse element portions are to be formed later. A surface area of the fuse unit including the predetermined locus is then molded with an insulator material. Thereafter, the fuse element portions are formed at the predetermined locus by, for example, stamping. In this manner, the fuse unit can be manufactured easily at low costs, irrespective of the number and electrical capacity of the fuse element portions.

摘要： A fuse box device is provided that includes a fuse box and a fuse unit contained therein. The fuse unit includes an input terminal directly connectable to a battery, several output terminals connectable to a wire harness, and several fuse element portions. One end of the fuse element portions is formed unitarily and in one piece with the input terminal, while the other end of the fuse element portions is formed unitarily and in one piece with the output terminals. The fuse unit is contained in the fuse box such that only the input terminal projects out of the fuse box. In such a construction, the fuse box device requires a reduced number of spare parts, so that production costs can be lowered. Moreover, the fuse box device is better suited to a miniaturization and less susceptible to assembly errors.
