    摘要: It is an object of the present invention to reduce cost of a hub wheel in a bearing device for wheel for a drive wheel or a driven wheel.A cylindrical pilot portion P to be fitted to an inner periphery of a wheel 80 is formed at an inner diameter part of a brake rotor 70. A shape of the hub wheel, in particular, the shape thereof on an outboard side is thereby simplified, and thus the hub wheel can be fabricated at low cost by cold forging or the like. A vehicle body fitting flange of an outer member of the bearing assembly has a front elevational shape of line symmetry or of point symmetry. A sensor unit including a strain generating member having two or more contact fixing segments to be fixed to the outer member and a strain sensor is provided at an arcuately sectioned portion lying from the flange to the outer member, or an outer peripheral surface portion of the outer member adjoining to the outboard side thereof, or a position crossing a line segment passing through a center of a rolling element or a position adjoining thereto. Alternatively, a plurality of sensor units are provided on the outer periphery of the outer member in a fashion spaced circumferentially equidistantly.

    摘要: A vehicle wheel bearing apparatus for a driven wheel has an outer member integrally formed with a body mounting flange on its outer circumference. The body mounting flange is adapted to be mounted on a knuckle forming part of a suspension apparatus of the vehicle. The outer member inner circumference includes double row outer raceway surfaces. An inner member includes a wheel hub and at least one inner ring. The wheel hub has a wheel mounting flange formed at one end portion. A cylindrical portion axially extends from the wheel mounting flange. The inner ring is press fit onto the cylindrical portion of the wheel hub. The inner member has a plurality of inner raceway surfaces adapted to be arranged opposite to the plurality of outer raceway surfaces. Double row rolling elements are freely rollably contained, via cages, between the outer raceway surfaces and inner raceway surfaces, respectively, of the outer member and the inner member. Seals are arranged in annular spaces formed between the outer member and the inner member. The knuckle is integrally formed with a disc-shaped bottom. The outer member is adapted to be connected to the knuckle, via bolts, with the body mounting flange abutted against the knuckle. The inner side end of the inner member is covered by the knuckle.

    摘要: A vehicle wheel bearing apparatus for a driven wheel has an outer member integrally formed with a body mounting flange on its outer circumference. The body mounting flange is adapted to be mounted on a knuckle forming part of a suspension apparatus of the vehicle. The outer member inner circumference includes double row outer raceway surfaces.
