摘要: Predetermined voltage is applied to a liquid crystal lens by a liquid crystal lens driver. Image signals are generated based on an optical image passed through the liquid crystal lens during transient response operation caused by application of the predetermined voltage, and plural focus signals are extracted by sampling the image signals at predetermined cycles. Levels of the extracted autofocus signals are compared to determine the maximum value of the autofocus signal. Thus, with the liquid crystal lens, by making use of the transient response operation of the liquid crystal lens, a focus point can be detected in sufficient speed.

摘要: A diagnostic apparatus for a multicylinder internal combustion engine includes: an EGR portion capable of executing an individual-cylinder EGR in which EGR gas is distributed and supplied individually to cylinders of the engine; a knock detection portion that detects a knock index value that represents degree of knocking, separately for each of the cylinders; an abnormality detection portion that determines presence or absence of a variation abnormality of air/fuel ratios of the cylinders during execution of the individual-cylinder EGR, and that pinpoints an abnormal cylinder after determining that the variation abnormality is present, and that calculates an imbalance index value that represents the degree of variation regarding the abnormal cylinder; and an abnormality location pinpointing portion that pinpoints an abnormality location in the abnormal cylinder based on the imbalance index value and the knock index value of the abnormal cylinder.

摘要: Provided is a solid-state imaging element including pixel signal read lines, and a pixel signal reading unit for reading pixel signals from a pixel unit via the pixel signal read line. The pixel unit includes a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix form, each pixel including a photoelectric conversion element. In the pixel unit, a shared pixel in which an output node is shared among a plurality of pixels is formed, and a pixel signal of each pixel in the shared pixel is capable of being selectively output from the shared output node to a corresponding one of the pixel signal read lines. The pixel signal reading unit sets a bias voltage for a load element which is connected to the pixel signal read line and in which current dependent on a bias voltage flows in the load element, to a voltage causing a current value to be higher than current upon a reference bias voltage when there is no difference between added charge amounts, when addition of pixel signals of the respective pixels in the shared pixel is driven.

摘要: An audio device arrangement structure for a motorcycle is configured and arranged to provide high-quality sound output. The audio device arrangement structure serves to mount an audio device, which includes an audio unit, an amplifier and at least one speaker, for a motorcycle. The audio unit is mounted at the front of the vehicle inside a top cover, between the top cover and the air cleaner. The amplifier is provided separately from the audio unit, and is arranged at the rear of the vehicle in the inside of a housing provided at a rear portion of a rear fender. The amplifier is supported on the housing by rubber bushings, to isolate the amplifier from vibrations of the vehicle body.

摘要: A recording device control apparatus that successively receives transfer requests and controls transfer of data relating to the transfer requests to and from a recording device, each transfer request including (i) area information that shows an area that is a transfer destination or a transfer source in the recording device and (ii) type information for specifying a transfer data type, the recording device control apparatus including: a reception unit operable to receive the transfer requests; a transfer request specification unit operable to perform transfer criterion judgment processing and same-area judgment processing with respect to each of specification target requests which are received transfer requests whose related data has not been transferred, and, when a targeted transfer request fulfills a condition of a negative judgment result in both of the processing, specify the related data of the targeted transfer request as a transfer target, the transfer criterion judgment processing being for judging whether or not the targeted transfer request is a transfer-withhold target, based on a predetermined transfer criterion that defines a transfer order for the targeted transfer request and one or more transfer requests having different type information to the targeted transfer request, and the same-area judgment processing being for judging whether or not a transfer request that has area information identical to area information included in the targeted transfer request was received before the targeted transfer request was received; and a transfer unit operable to transfer the data specified by the transfer request specification unit. By transferring data to the same area in the order specified by the transfer specification unit, inconsistencies are avoided in the data in the recording device.
