The present invention provides an inkjet recording head cartridge and an inkjet recording apparatus that have a simple structure and high reliability. Since individual flow passages in which ink emission orifices are formed are communicated directly with a rectangular ink supply chamber, it is prevented that a bubble of such a size as to cause printing defects rises through an ink supply chamber and blocks the individual flow passages. Also, since ink heated within the ink supply chamber is moved upward to the ink tank chamber by convection and grows an air lump sealed beforehand, it is prevented that a bubble will grow in the ink supply chamber. Furthermore, by allocating a large cross-sectional area to the ink supply chamber, it is prevented that meniscus oscillation of the ink emission orifices is amplified by pressure oscillation caused by ink emission and causes a printing defect. Therefore, reliable printing can be performed with a simple construction.

The present invention provides a liquid jet printing head, a method of manufacturing the same, and a liquid jet printing apparatus, which allow stable, high speed, and continuous printing. A liquid jet printing head provides an inflow of liquid from an inlet to a common chamber, then along with the surface of heating elements of a heating element substrate and with a wall of a housing to separate channels. Liquid drops will be ejected by heating the heating elements. Since liquid may flow linearly from the inlet to the separate channels in accordance with the present invention, smooth flow promotes evacuation of bubbles through a nozzle, while cooling the heating element substrate with liquid flowing along with the substrate. The present invention provides thereby stable printing with high speed, continuous ejection (printing) of liquid drops.

A bubble generated in a common liquid chamber is moved to the side of an ink tank via a communicating port formed in a sufficient size and a supply passage. That is, a bubble generated inside a common liquid chamber is exhausted satisfactorily from the common liquid chamber by forming the communicating port in a shape which the bubble can pass, resulting in the supply of ink to the common liquid chamber and an individual passage (nozzle) prevented from being blocked by the bubble. As a result, even if high-speed continuous jetting (printing) is performed, stable printing is enabled.

The present invention provides an ink jet recording head in which the degree of freedom in the design of the arranged position of an electric signal input-output terminal is enhanced, its manufacturing method and an ink jet recording device, the invention is characterized as follows. The ink jet recording head is formed by laminating a heater element substrate in which a heater element and others are arranged and a passage substrate in which nozzles and others are formed. When the nozzles and others are formed by etching in the passage substrate, a cut-out portion for exposing an electric signal input-output terminal of the heater element substrate is also formed. Therefore, the degree of freedom in the design of the shape and the position of the cut-out portion in the head chip is enhanced. It is possible to prevent a hydrophobic agent from adhering to the electric signal input-output terminal to result in electric connection failure if hydrophobic treatment is applied to a nozzle forming plane by forming the head chip so that the electric signal input-output terminal is not exposed at least on the side of the nozzle forming plane owing to the cut-out portion.

The slider (16) is formed on its side surface with a serration groove (16a) which engages the serration groove (12a). The slider (16) is biased toward the wall surface (11a) with an elastic force by a biasing means (15) which is provided at another wall surface (11b) of the U-shaped groove (11) and includes a pressing pin (17), a disk spring (18) and a set screw (19). Therefore, abrasion and deformation can be easily coped with by replacing the spacer (12), and the shakiness of the slider (16) can be suppressed, thereby extending the life of the tool and reducing the labor for maintenance.
