摘要： The present invention is directed to a door weather strip in which the corner portions thereof are integrally formed with straight portions thereof. In order to obtain a predetermined sealing interference, the cross sectional shape of the corner portions of hollow sealing portion and the lip seal of the weather strip is arranged to be longer than that in the straight portion. Alternatively, the sealing portion is raised as to have a predetermined shape when the corners are formed. Said formed shapes are solidified by vulcanization after the weather strip has been plastic deformed before the vulcanization.

摘要： A weather strip including a trim part U-shaped in section, a hollow seal part joined to the trim part, and a core member made up of a plurality of U-shaped core pieces embeded in the trim part to the extent that the weather strip is not impaired in flexibility. Wires are embeded in the weather strip in such a manner that they are located near the joint and extend in the weather strip longitudinally. Hence, the weather strip can be engaged with a flange of a vehicle that varies three-dimensionally in posture and in direction.

摘要： An opening trim which is mounted to a body flange of a door mounting opening portion of an automobile, and provided with a U-like cross-section and grasping lips on the inside of the U-like cross-section. The opening trim comprises a portion intended to grasp a thick portion of the body flange and a usual portion continuing to the portion intended to grasp the thick portion, and both portions are molded integrally by means of extrusion molding. The inclination angle of the grasping lips at least in one side of the portion intended to grasp the thick portion with respect to the flange inserting surface is made smaller than that in the usual portion. Thereby the flange pushing resisting force in the portion intended to grasp the thick portion is about equal with that in the usual portion.

摘要： A door weather strip capable of surely closing a gap between a door of a motor vehicle and a door opening portion of a vehicle body while exhibiting excellent sealing properties with good appearance. The door weather strip includes a base portion for attachment to an outer periphery of the door, and a seal portion which is integrally formed with the base portion for contacting the door opening portion. The seal portion includes a main seal and a sub-seal which is provided on an outer side of the main seal. The sub-seal has a protrusion which protrudes from the base portion towards the door opening portion, and a tubular part having a generally triangular cross-section. One corner of the tubular part is integrally joined to the protrusion such that one wall which faces the one corner is located between the door and the door opening portion.

摘要： There is provided a weather strip in which a mounting base portion of the weather strip includes a portion formed into a substantially L-shape in cross section which has at least a bottom wall and an exterior side wall. A pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape is securely affixed to an internal surface of the exterior side wall. A stretch and contraction prevention portion is formed on the exterior side wall in a position which lies more centrally in a width direction of the exterior side wall than a connecting portion where the exterior side wall and the bottom wall are connected together. When the mounting base portion is curved in the width direction, a neutral plane of the curve is made to reside within the stretch and contraction prevention portion.

The base portion including a bottom wall and an outer side wall and having a generally L-shaped cross-section is curved in a holding section of an attaching device on the side of an end of the flange to enlarge an angle between a bottom wall and an outer side wall of the base portion, and in a pressing section of the attaching device, the bottom wall is pressed against an end of the flange, and a double-sided adhesive tape bonded to the outer side wall is pressed against an exterior face of the flange, whereby the weather strip is attached to the flange.
