摘要: For separation and recovery of dimethyl terephthalate (DMT) and ethyiene glycol (EG) from polyester waste containing foreign materials, the polyester waste is treated in EG containing a polyester depolymerization catalyst, a solid foreign material fraction floated on the surface of the resultant reaction solution is removed and the residual solid foreign material fraction is removed from the remaining solution fraction. The remaining solution fraction is distilled and concentrated and the distilled EG is recovered. A transesterification reaction catalyst and methanol are mixed into the distillation residue. The resultant reaction mixture is recrystallized and subjected to centrifugal separation to separate the reaction mixture into the DMT cake and a mixture solution, and then the cake is distilled whereby high-purity DMT is recovered. The residual mixture solution is subjected to distillation treatment for recovery of the methanol, and the distillation residue is distilled to recover EG.

摘要: A liquid ejecting apparatus includes a liquid ejecting head with a plurality of nozzles that eject a liquid to a medium; the liquid ejecting head has actuators (piezoelectric devices), each of which causes an ejection operation for ejecting the liquid from one of the nozzles and a protrusion operation for keeping the liquid protruded from a nozzle plane in which the nozzles are disposed. The liquid ejecting apparatus also includes a controller that identifies non-used nozzles from which not to eject the liquid to the medium to have the protrusion operation performed for the nozzles and also identifies nozzles from which to eject the liquid to have the ejection operation performed for the nozzles.

摘要: A computer lock system comprising a computer body and a wireless receiver connected thereto is provided. The wireless receiver includes: a wireless signal receiving unit that receives a wireless signal that may include noise or be in a no-signal state; and a received signal outputting unit that outputs the received wireless signal to the computer body. The computer body includes: a received signal acquisition unit that acquires the signal output from the received signal outputting unit; an ID determination unit that determines, in an intermittent manner, whether an unlock ID, which is an ID for enabling usual access to a display interface of the computer body, is contained in an acquired signal from the received signal acquisition unit; an accessible status information holding unit that holds accessible status information that indicates whether or not the usual access to the display interface of the computer body is enabled, the indication being determined based on the acquired signal; an access-enabling unit that changes, when the ID determination unit determines that a valid unlock ID is contained, the accessible status information held in the accessible status information holding unit to an accessible status for enabling the usual access to the display interface of the computer body; an access-disabling unit that changes, when the ID determination unit determines that a valid unlock ID is not contained, the accessible status information held in the accessible status information holding unit to an inaccessible status for causing the display interface of the computer body to disable the usual access to a display; and a control unit that controls the display interface based on the accessible status information held in the accessible status information holding unit.

摘要: A dummy substrate is obtained by covering a silicon substrate with a resin coating. This increases the strength of the dummy substrate, prevents pieces and particles of the silicon substrate from scattering, and even when the dummy substrate is damaged during processing, prevents them from contaminating a processing apparatus. The use of a chemical-resistant resin for the resin coating restrains the dummy substrate from being etched by a cleaning process using a chemical solution and increases the number of times that the dummy substrate can repeatedly be used.

摘要: A scanning electron microscope permitting observation of raw biological specimens containing moisture. A vessel accommodating water supplied to the specimen is formed. A passage is formed in the specimen chamber of the microscope to convey the liquid from the vessel to the specimen. A pipe for introducing a gas such as air is connected with the passage. The introduced gas leaks around the specimen after flowing through the passage to prevent the liquid from freezing in the vessel and in the passage when the specimen chamber is evacuated to a vacuum.

摘要: To suppress nozzle clogging without reducing printing speed, a printing device of the invention includes a plurality of nozzles for discharging ink while moving in a movement direction; a conveying unit for conveying a medium in a conveying direction; and a controller for repeating a dot-forming action for discharging ink from the nozzles moving in the movement direction and forming dots on the medium, and a conveying action for conveying the medium in the conveying direction. The controller places an additional image in a different position in the movement direction from an area where a main image to be printed is formed, discharges ink from all of the nozzles in each of the dot-forming actions, and prints the additional image on the medium.
