摘要： An apparatus for feeding a both-sided document having images on both sides thereof is provided with a document stand; a reading section; a feeder having a feeding passage and to feed the both-sided document from the document stand to the reading section along the feeding passage; a pair of reversing rollers provided on a reversing passage to reverse the both-sided document after an image of the both-sided document is read at the reading section and to reefed the reversed both-sided document from the reversing passage to the feeding passage so that an image on another side of the both-sided document is read at the reading section; a pair of ejecting rollers provided on an ejecting passage and to eject the both-sided document to a delivery section after the images on both sides of the both-sided document are read at the reading section; and a switching mechanism to connect an outlet passage of the reading section to one of the reversing passage and the ejecting passage; wherein one of the pair of reversing rollers and one of the ejecting rollers are mounted coaxially on a shaft.

摘要： A split-opening portion is formed by two transverse breakable portions that extend substantially along the transverse direction of a vehicle, two front-rear breakable portions that extend substantially along the front-rear direction of the vehicle and are connected to the transverse breakable portions, and a middle breakable portion that is located between the two transverse breakable portions and extends substantially along the transverse direction of the vehicle. The middle breakable portion is connected to the front-rear breakable portions. In a front passenger seat airbag apparatus, the split-opening portion is broken by pressing force of an inflated airbag so that door portions are separated from the door adjacent portion, and the door support portions are pivoted together with the door portions about hinge portions serving as fulcrums. The breaking strengths of parts of the split-opening portion are varied such that is broken in the order of the transverse breakable portions, the front-rear breakable portions, and the middle breakable portion.

摘要： A pattern formation method wherein a very small pattern composed of a desired element (atoms) is formed directly on a substrate by using atomic beam hologram technology. Quantum coherent reflection of an atomic wave is utilized. A coherent atomic beam is irradiated as a material wave, for example, upon a hologram of the transmission type to modulate the atomic beam with pattern information included in the hologram. The atomic beam having passed through and diffracted by the hologram is introduced to a reflecting plane so that the atomic beam may be quantum coherent reflected by the reflecting plane, and the atomic beam thus reflected is introduced into a substrate. A binary (two-value) hologram produced by computer synthesis is used suitably as the hologram. A hologram of the potential control type may be also used.
