    摘要: In a swash-plate compressor, pistons are slidably received in cylinder bores. A drive shaft is extended through a crank chamber, and is rotated through an electromagnetic clutch means associated therewith. A conversion mechanism is provided on the shaft for converting a rotational movement of the shaft into a reciprocation of each piston in the corresponding cylinder bore such that a suction stroke and a discharge stroke are alternately executed therein. A fluid is introduced from a suction chamber into the bore during the suction stroke, and during the compression stroke, the fluid is compressed in and discharged from the bore into a discharge chamber. The conversion mechanism is constituted such that a stroke length is shortened in response to an increase of a pressure in the crank chamber, and vice versa. A first passage communicates the crank with the suction chamber, and a second passage communicates the crank chamber with the discharge chamber. A control valve is provided in one of the first or second passage, and is magnetically actuated by the clutch for controlling the pressure in the crank chamber such that the piston stroke can be minimized whenever the clutch is electrically deenergized.

The high pressure gas supply passageway is formed in the cylinder block, and the flow choke is provided in a discharge valve assembly including a valve plate, a discharge valve element, and a valve retainer.

A hinge mechanism connects the lug plate and the swash plate. The hinge mechanism causes the pistons to reciprocate via the lug plate and the swash plate, in response to the rotational motion of the drive shaft. The hinge mechanism includes a pin, which has a first and a second end portions. The first end portion of the pin is slidably inserted into the swash plate. A support arm protrudes from the lug plate, and further includes a bush. The bush rotatably supports the second end portion of the pin.

    摘要: The housing of a swash plate type compressor includes a suction chamber and a discharge chamber. A plurality of cylinder bores are formed in a cylinder block connected to the housing. A plurality of pistons in corresponding cylinder bores are provided such that each piston reciprocates as a function of the rotation of a rotary shaft. A valve chamber communicates with at least one of the suction chamber and discharge chamber, and is provided between the housing and the cylinder block. The valve chamber is connected to the cylinder bores via respective passages. A rotary valve is accommodated rotatably in the valve chamber. A guide groove is provided in the outer surface of the rotary valve to permit communication between each cylinder bore and the associated passage in at least one of a suction stage and a compression stage of the coolant gas. A gas passage has one of its ends connected to the guide groove, and the other end connected to either the suction chamber or discharge chamber and is provided in the rotary valve. The rotary valve is coupled to the rotary shaft by a connecting member.

    摘要: A compressor includes a compressing mechanism for compressing refrigerant gas and an oil separator for separating the oil from the gas. The separated oil is used to lubricate the compressor. The compressor has a discharge passage to permit refrigerant gas to flow out of the compressor, a recess located in the discharge passage, a plug press fitted in the recess and a supply passage for returning the separated oil to the compressor. The plug and the recess define a separation chamber having a circular cross-section and an annular chamber. The separation chamber is connected with the annular chamber by an outlet passage formed in the plug. The refrigerant gas swirls along the wall of the separation chamber, which separates the oil from the gas. Since the plug is press fitted in the recess, installation of the plug is facilitated. This structure also prevents the plug from loosening.

Each piston reciprocates in relation to the rotation of the rotary shaft to execute suction, compression and discharge of the refrigerant gas. A valve chamber is disposed in the vicinity of the cylinder bore. A plurality of ports are arranged to communicate the valve chamber to the associated cylinder bores. The valve chamber has a rotary valve which rotates in relation to the reciprocating motion of the pistons. A suction passage is formed in the rotary valve to be sequentially communicated with each port in synchronism with the rotation of the rotary valve in order to introduce the refrigerant gas into each cylinder bore. A seal zone is included in the rotary valve, which sequentially blocks each port in synchronism with the rotation of the rotary valve. A groove is defined in the rotary valve, which is capable of guiding the refrigerant gas entering between the valve chamber and the rotary valve.

    摘要: An axial multi-piston compressor includes a drive shaft, a cylinder block having cylinder bores formed therein and surrounding the drive shaft, and a plurality of pistons slidably received in the respective cylinder bores, wherein the pistons are successively reciprocated in the cylinder bores by a rotation of the drive shaft so that a suction stroke and a discharge stroke are alternately executed in each of the cylinder bores. During the suction stroke, a fluid is introduced into the cylinder bore, and during the compression stroke, the introduced fluid is compressed and discharged from the cylinder bore such that a residual part of the compressed fluid is inevitably left in the cylinder bore when the compression stroke is finished. The compressor further includes a rotary valve for allowing the residual part of the compressed fluid to escape from the cylinder bore into another cylinder bore governed by the compression stroke.
