摘要： A media handling device for a printer is provided. The media handling device includes a base structure and an assembly provided on the base structure. The assembly comprises a carrier structure that has a first end that is coupled to the base structure. The carrier structure is coupled to the base structure to move inwards from an original position and is under bias to return to the original position, in order to receive a media sheet during a print operation. The assembly also comprises a set of starwheels provided with the carrier structure. Each starwheel rotates while contacting the media sheet during the print operation.

An example of a curl control method for use in a printing device is additionally disclosed.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes a substrate receiving member, a fluid applicator unit, and an air recirculator assembly. The substrate receiving member may selectively receive a substrate. The fluid applicator unit may selectively eject a first set of drops to the substrate received by the substrate receiving member in a print mode and a second set of drops in a maintenance mode. The air recirculater assembly may direct air to form an air barrier across the print zone to redirect at least one of aerosol and particulates from crossing through the air barrier and onto the substrate, to filter the at least one of the aerosol and particulates to form filtered air, and to form the air barrier with the filtered air.

An example of the apparatus includes a rocker assembly adjacent the lift plate and a slide assembly coupled to the rocker assembly to actuate the rocker assembly subsequent to insertion of the media tray in a printing device, thereby raising the lift plate. The apparatus additionally includes a lock assembly to release the lock assembly upon initiation of opening of the media tray, thereby allowing the lift plate to lower prior to such removal. A media tray and method for actuating a lift plate of a media tray are also disclosed herein.
