摘要： A sewing machine frame is comprised of a vertical support member, a horizontal arm, and a horizontal cantilevered base member, each of which is comprised of a hollow, rectilinear aluminum extrusion. The vertical support member is secured to a horizontally disposed base and the arm and bed may be secured to a side of the vertical support member or the vertical support member may be divided into first and second portions with the first portion interposed between the arm and the bed and the second portion being interposed between the bed and the base. In the latter construction, common bolts secure the arm, the bed, the base, and the first and second portions of the vertical support member together as a unitary assembly.

摘要： A sewing machine having the usual type needle thread taking up lever and the path through which the needle thread travels almost unrevealedly nested within a housing defined by the end face of the arm and a cover to be attached for safety purpose and additionally neat appearance purpose. The sewing machine is further characterized by provision of a separator within the housing in parallel with an internal front face of the cover so as to provide the lever with a space of suitable volume for preventing a loop passing through a thread guiding eye of the lever from being fallen off the eye when the lever is on its slackening stroke.

摘要： An extension table for attachment to a sewing machine head of the portable type for enlarging the somewhat limited working area provided by flat upper surface of the bed in which the bobbin mechanism is housed under the needle and presser foot wherein the table is pivotally mounted on a support structure associated with the machine in such manner as to enable it to be shifted between a vertical position along one side of the machine for storage with the latter within a case, and a horizontal working position co-planar with the upper surface of the bed. The table has an elongated L-shaped configuration and is mounted on the supporting structure in such manner that when in its horizontal working position the short and long sides thereof respectively lie adjacent the end and side walls of the machine bed.

摘要： A thread winding mechanism for a sewing machine head includes a main drive shaft for operating the sewing components and which is rotatably mounted within the head of the machine, a flywheel rotatably mounted on the drive shaft, a clutch for connecting and disconnecting the flywheel from the drive shaft, and a motor for driving the flywheel. A thread winding shaft is formed integrally with and extends axially outward from one end of the flywheel to the exterior of the head and a clutch operating handwheel mounted on and rotatable with the flywheel and which likewise extends outside the head can be shifted axially between an inward position wherein the flywheel is disconnected from the drive shaft and the thread winding shaft is exposed, and an outward position wherein the flywheel is connected to the drive shaft and the thread winding shaft is concealed within the handwheel.

The lithium ion battery according to this exemplary embodiment is a lithium ion battery comprising a nonaqueous electrolytic solution or gel electrolyte containing a Li salt and an oxoacid ester derivative of phosphoric acid; a group of stacked electrode in which positive electrodes comprising a positive electrode layer comprising a positive electrode active material disposed on at least one surface of a positive electrode current collector, and negative electrodes comprising a negative electrode layer comprising a negative electrode active material disposed on at least one surface of a negative electrode current collector are alternately stacked via separators; and a package containing the nonaqueous electrolytic solution or gel electrolyte and the group of stacked electrode, wherein both of two electrodes A disposed on outermost sides of the group of stacked electrode, respectively, satisfy 0≦(Wc/Wb)≦0.55 when a mass of an electrode active material contained in an electrode active material-coated layer B disposed on a group-of-stacked-electrodes side of an electrode current collector is Wb, and a mass of an electrode active material contained in an electrode active material-coated layer C disposed on a package side of the electrode current collector is Wc.
