摘要: An electronic apparatus includes an optical connector adapting unit to which optical connectors of external optical fibers are connected. The optical connector adapting unit includes a plurality of optical connector adapters which are diagonally arranged on the front side of the apparatus. The optical connectors of the external optical fibers are diagonally detachable from the optical connector adapters. In this electronic apparatus, a large number of optical connectors of optical fibers can be connected and arranged in a restricted space.

摘要: An optical telecommunication apparatus includes a shelf, a primary substrate provided in the shelf, a secondary substrate provided on the primary substrate, an optical component provided on the secondary substrate, and an optical connector provided on the secondary substrate for connection with an external optical cable, wherein the secondary substrate is pivoted on the primary substrate about a pivot axis so as to be movable about the pivot axis between a first position in which the secondary substrate is inside said shelf and a second position in which the secondary substrate projects outside of the shelf. The secondary substrate is in electrical connection with the primary substrate while in any position between the first and second positions.

摘要: A power supply terminal assembly for use on a board and having a construction which is capable of improving working efficiency in mounting the power supply terminal assembly onto the board and enhancing mechanical strength of each power supply terminal. The power supply terminal assembly for supplying electric power to a back wiring board (BWB) comprises a terminal block formed with a pair of through slits and a screw hole at a center between the pair of through slits, and a terminal bracket bent into a U-shape and having a flat central plate portion formed therethrough with a hole corresponding to the screw hole and opposite side plate portions each formed with a plurality of press-fit terminals at an end thereof, the opposite side plate portions being inserted through the pair of through slits, respectively, and fixed thereat.

摘要: There is provided a circuit board cabinet which is capable of more reliably preventing flames of a fire in a shelf from spreading to external devices, without degrading cooling capability thereof. Flames of the fire occurring in the shelf rise within a slot, pass through a shield plate, and then enter a heat shield unit. In the heat shield unit, the flames are first blocked by a heat shield plate and substantially reduced in force while passing through holes formed through the heat shield plate. Portions of the flames which were not blocked by the heat shield plate reach a top board of the unit after passing through the holes, where they are reduced. Since there is a predetermined distance between the heat shield plate and the top board, the flames having passed through the heat shield plate spread horizontally to some extent and then reach the top board. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the force of the flames sufficiently by the top board. The flow of cooling air in normal use is sufficiently slower than that of flames, so that there is no fear of the existence of the heat shield unit causing a degraded heat dissipation.

摘要: An SFP module mounting structure whereby the region of a printed wiring board for mounting SFP modules is enlarged and thus the SFP modules can be mounted with high density. A swing mechanism constituted by the coupling between a holder and a base allows the holder to be swung in directions toward and away from the printed wiring board. Thus, when mounting an SFP module, the SFP module can be inserted into the holder with the holder kept in an obliquely raised state relative to the printed wiring board. Also, when detaching the SFP module, the SFP module can be pulled out of the holder with the holder obliquely raised from the printed wiring board.

摘要: In an optical transmission node, a plurality of shelves, respectively connected to a plurality of optical cables having limitations on bending radius, are stored in one rack of the node. In a shelf body thereof, the first and second opening portions are made in a front surface, and an extra-cable looping device loops an extra portion of the optical cable, further a moving mechanism is provided for moving the extra-cable looping device to avoid a space occupied by the units in a state removed from the second opening portion, this enables extra-cable handling within a limited spatial range and the insertion/removal of the units having various functions from the shelf in a state where the cable is active and further the improvement of a shelf mounting density per rack.
