    摘要: A process for producing a propylene copolymer having improved transparency and rigidity, which comprises carrying out (A) the polymerization of a vinyl cycloalkane having at least 6 carbon atoms and (B) the polymerization of propylene either alone or with ethylene in a multiplicity of steps in the presence of a catalyst system composed of a titanium compound and an organoaluminum compound. The content of the vinyl cycloalkane unit in the resulting copolymer is 0.05 to 10,000 weight ppm.

    摘要: A stretched multilayer polypropylene film is described, comprising a stretched crystalline polypropylene layer and a layer of a composition (Composition B) laminated on at least one side of said polypropylene layer, wherein the composition B comprises a homo- or copolymer composed mainly of ethylene, propylene or butene-1 and having a melting point of 150.degree. C. or less, and a vinylcycloalkane polymer in an amount of 0.05 wt ppm to 10 wt % calculated as a vinylcycloalkane unit. This multilayer film is greatly improved in optical properties such as excellent see-through properties without deteriorating its good heat sealability. Thus it is very useful for wrapping.

    摘要: A process for producing propylene-ethylene block copolymers by a three-step polymerization technique using a stereoregular catalyst, characterized in that the first-step polymerization is carried out by supplying propylene alone or a propylene/ethylene mixture so that the ethylene/propylene reaction ratio is 6/94 or less, thereby polymerizing 60 to 95% by weight of the total polymerization amount, the second-step polymerization is carried out by supplying a propylene/ethylene mixture so that the ethylene/propylene reaction ratio is 15/85 to 79/21, thereby polymerizing 1 to 20% by weight of the total polymerization amount, and the third-step polymerization is carried out by supplying a propylene/ethylene mixture so that the ethylene/propylene reaction ratio is 50/50 to 89/11, thereby polymerizing 4 to 35% by weight of the total polymerization amount, with the ethylene/propylene reaction ratio in the third step made larger than that in the second step. Said process can give propylene-ethylene block copolymers markedly well balanced in impact strength, stiffness, transparency and impact blushing.
